I think Lidge hadn't allowed a run all year...

Tonight with a 2 run lead - he gives it up - when I had Phil minus a run and a half....

Why does all the "firsts" happen against me?

There is no way, if you have a 2 run lead, and you give up 1 run and allow 3 baserunners, you should never get a save in that situation.

The "save" is the biggest joke in baseball. If you have a lead of 3 runs or less - and give up a run or more - no save.

Shitty, shitty pitching to a bad hitting Braves team....

However, given that he hadn't given up a run all year, given that he was facing a crappy hitting Braves team, it would have been nice of him to bear down and not give up a run (which he had been doing all year).

Yea, it only cost me $663 which isn't a lot, but it is still money. That probably seems like a lot to you I'm sure. Is your weekly paycheck from Mickey D's even that big? :mj07:

Watching Lidge in Houston was more frustrating.
He has been awesome thus far,but hey Houston got back Michael Bourn and afterall he is hitting a solid .193.

At least has 17 SB and 0 CS. Too bad he can't get on enough. OBP .267 for a leadoff man.OUCH.

I always like Bourn... he'll come around - if he takes a few walks, gets up to .250, he'll be a tremendous asset
