Where did you find out it was a winner?? I bet the line with BetRoyal but it has not been settled as yet. I would like to know because if it is not settled as a winner, then my e-mail is ready to send :) :D

Canbet upgraded it as a winner and go check their motor racing rules: if both drivers are out on the same lap, it is the official results (FIA) that counts. I know some offshores will put it as a push if they are out on the same lap but i haven't received the confirmation, with the FIA results, they were out on the same lap. Sometimes, f1-live.com commit mistakes so we better with the FIA results.

GREAT Race!!!

GREAT Race!!!

Great job as usual guys! Brother Ralf had me worried there for quite a while with all the time he was making up on Michael. I can't remember the last time Michael was +200 to win a race.....nice to cash that one.

Oh, 1837....still no reply from Jack w/ your email so we can settle the referral. Why don't you send it to me?

Wow that is unreal.....if my firm Hills were to pay out somebody and then claim it back there would be murder!! That is truly unprofessional and if I was you I would complain like mad to customer services.

I DON'T Understand.......

I DON'T Understand.......

What does it matter if they both retired on the same lap or not.....I mean in all other forms of auto racing, when there is a crash or whatever to force 2 cars out of the race, it's who was ahead at the time no?

What am I missing here? Panis is ahead of Frentzen in all classifications that I've seen.....no idea how that can be a push if he is shown AHEAD of him in the classification. I can understand if it happens on the grid, but not after 25 laps have been run.

Olympic Service very poor

Olympic Service very poor

I just called to complain to the Cust Service Dept of Olympic about grading the race a winner and then changing it to a push, and the guy I spoke with was a real dickhead....

Nothing a guy can do but complain and then if the company doesn't make the customer happy after complaining, word of mouth will take care of the rest....

So here's to Olympic Sports:thefinger :moon:

My first dabble in F-1 and it gave me a pretty bad taste in my mouth...

Here's OLY point: They go strickly by their rule books: In match-up propositions, if one driver fails to complete the race, the other driver will be declared the winner of the match-up. Where both drivers fail to complete the race, the number of full laps completed will determine the result. If both drivers fail to complete the race on the same lap, the wager is deemed "no action," all the wagers will be refunded

They did made a mistake by upgrading it as a winner but they decide to correct it and give us a push. Canbet rules is much better because at the end of it it is clearly stated that if both are out on the same lap then it is the official results that counts. Why do Oly have different rules? Well... They should honor it being a mistake of their own but we know they are there to make $$$... I'll play more with Canbet and other sportsbooks like them next time!;)

Race not brilliant for me due to McNish getting damaged early + a Minardi taking out Massa for no good reason   , but Salo getting in the points again made a profit.:D :)

Season now 15/10/1 +27pts

Well done all round - looks like some clean-ups were had on that side of the pond! :D

As far as your 'push' goes almost all firms over here use the 'same lap=void bet' rule - the actual FIA position is irrelevent. It is a pity that you all got the good answer first!:(

Roll on next race...

1837 what do you mean no qualifying matchups at Oly? I made some change with Ralph over Barichello and Coulthard over Raikkonen there.

I don't know if they took them down after 2nd practice but they were certainly there to bet on Friday night. My suggestion is to ask to speak to Spiro and tell him you want qualifying matchups UNTIL Qualifying.

As for the result being a push on Panis/Frentzen, Bet365USA had the same matchup and also graded it no action. Right or wrong it does state it in Olympic's rules and as long as it's not arbitrary I don't think anyone can complain. Obviously those that bet Panis are a bit upset but I'm sure those that bet Frentzen would be even more upset if they graded it a loss for Frentzen when it clearly states that the bet should be no action. Everyone makes mistakes. :brows:

BTW, Stanley I know this is :topic: but who do you like in the Masters? Can anyone beat Tiger? I'm looking for some value and am thinking maybe about an e/w bet on Rocco Mediate, Scott McCarron and Charles Howell III. All are playing well and the course demands strength moreso than accuracy. What do you think? I have already made a sizable bet on Sergio Garcia.
