Myron you misunderstand unless it wasn't clear: I wrote no qualifying match ups during saturday morning. They have never been up saturday at all and that was what upset me the most. Why put them down 12 hours before the qualyfing? As someone wrote, when do you see a sportsbooks take out lines off the board 12 hours before a baseball or a basketball game? Others put them during the last practice or right after it. It was the first time i saw OLY putting them off so early wich is unusual to them.
:nono:

What sportbooks should do ,to avoid any contreversy ,is to have a one rule for all in racing! It's getting stupid now to see every sportsbooks to differfrom each to other on the same sport don't you think? F1 is the only sports on my side where you can have a winner, a push or a loser on a same match ups according to where you have taken it. Stupid isn't?
We have now to shop for racing rules...

They had Q matchups available up until the qualifying session for Australia and Malaysia. I wonder if it was just an oversight with Brazil. Since I bet the matchups early I really didn't notice.

In the meantime I notice that every sportsbook now is closing their lines prior to each practice session and then reopening them later. It looks like it will be harder to make money this year.

Anyways we now move to Europe and it is clear that the Williams cars are easily the equals of the Ferrari's this year. If I can get decent odds on Wiliams to win the constructors championship I'm going to go for it. Barichello is horrible this year while Montoya and Ralph will be factors each race.

BTW who is the worst driver in F1 right now? I've narrowed it to 4 drivers
- Rubens Barichello
- Takuma Sato
- Enrique Bernoldi
- Olivier Panis

Barrichello worst driver this season? You gotta be kidding!

How can you judge him by this years performance in race?Let's take a look...

First race, he started at the pole (not bad hey...) and Montoya hit him on the rear to end his race.

Second race, while he is (again!) the leader towards the end of the race, his ferrari surrended with a blowing engine...

Today third race, he is leading (sounds familar no?) when suddenly hydraulic failure on his ferrari...

Can we say because he has no points he sucks? NO WAY!!!:nono: He is for sure the most unlucky driver this season but certainly not the worst. It is just unfair to make such a statement...

How can we put a judgement on drivers when they're not driving the same car? I fall myself in this trap sometimes but we've got to be aware of it. Let's put them on the same cars and we'll see whose better! For sure some drivers have more ability or are more talented (won't put names here...;)) on wet or dry conditons or to overtake someone else. It's just unfair to judge someone by his results if you don't take in consideration if the results reflects his ability or is a result of badluck (mechanical failure...)

It's fun to exhange opinions and see others point of view. Hope you'll accept mine!;)

1837 you are correct. But I'll tell you who is a VERY UNDER RATED driver IMO is Mika Salo. This guy has 2 points finishes now in a Toyota that is clearly not as good as most of the other cars plus when he took over for Michael Schumacher a few years back when Michael Schumacher broke his leg, Salo had a runner up position in a race he could have won had he not been forced to move over for Eddie Irvine.

Having said that there are some drivers I don't like. My comments on Takuma Sato are unfair since he is new and Olivier Panis had some past success. Perhaps the drivers we can comment on are those that are not clearly in inferior cars but tend to do lousy no matter what. The one driver that jumps out at me in this regard is Jarno Trulli. The guy is always close to start the race and no matter what his car ends up parked before the race is out. It's easy to say that the problem is the car's reliability but Jenson Button seems to have no trouble finishing races in the Renault and when he was with Jordan, Frentzen had no trouble finishing races (and even winning some) while Trulli would no doubt have a blown engine by the end of the race.

I don't know why he struggles so much but it's clear to me that Trulli is just not a patient enough driver.
