Are McDonalds pancakes made in China?

If someone asked me the question: Where are McDonalds pancakes made? I would guess that McDonalds pancakes are made in China. Why? Pancakes are supposed to be light, fluffy, and golden brown. McDonalds pancakes are heavy, spongy, with a sickly yellow color. No American with any pride of workmanship would make a pancake like the pancakes they serve at McDonalds; this is why I think McDonalds pancakes are made in China. So, I ask you, knowledgable Yahoo Answers masses: Are McDonalds pancakes made in China?

No,, they're not, although I agree they aren't terribly appealing. They're mass produced in a couple different plants in the US and then frozen, packaged and shipped to Micky D restaurants all over the country. T'would be far better if the were made with fresh batter prepared on site at each restaurant, but that would increase the wait time, and people don't come to Mickey D and expect to have to wait.
