THE OTHER DAY I CAUGHT THE END OF A STORY ABOUT STEEL PIPE MADE IN INDIA. SOME UNION GUY THAT WAS OUT OF WORK THAT USED TO WORK AT THE LOCAL STEEL MILL WAS BEING INTERVIEWED.
HE WAS A BITCHIN. HE WAS STANDING NEXT TO A STACK OF STEEL PIPE THAT HAD BEEN IMPORTED FROM INDIA.HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY STEEL PIPE HAD TO BE IMPORTED FROM INDIA , WHILE HE CAN'T FEED HIS FAMILY.
NOW WHO WOULD BLAME THIS GUY WHEN HE GOES OFF HIS ROCKER AND KILLS A DOZEN POLITICIANS OR MAYBE A DOZEN TOURIST FROM INDIA.
IT MAKES ME" MAD AS HELL" TO SEE THIS SHIT.

Y'all can't have it both ways. You want free trade or not? Free trade is not the same as fair trade, but you would label fair trade 'socialist'.

In the spirit of international brotherhood, and to maintain the life styles of the American Brickmakers, as well as the Chinese Brickmakers,
I bought 36 American made bricks and only 11 Chinese Bricks.....

Hopefully, I am not one brick shy of a full load.

Found some tuff to find, blue denim colored socks,
had an American old time rail-road engine on the label, proudly proclaiming them as American Style Railroad Socks.....they were made in Pakistan...

Lord help us....

-if you think its hard to compete now wait till carbon taxes on manufactuers--and on utilities companies that produce their energy--then there is another increase in minimum wage--and they just repealed length of time employees can sue their employees for discrimination--

Flip side you got China(quietly) buying up every comodity there is--with their U.S. $ reserves (unloading)
--you got the U.S. printinting more $'s and U.S. borrowing money at higher interest rate to buy our own treasuries paying peanuts because no one else will--which is unprecedented.

Where do they expect to get revenue to pay for this debt burden--in new taxes added to business via carbon taxes--all while trying to revitalize the unions.
Wouldn't exactly call all the above a level playing field.

Hold on a minute but isn't the biggest Chinese store in the world "your" largest retailer. The economy is suffering and money is tight, so where do you buy your groceries....at Walmart where nothing is made in the U.S. You can't have it both ways. If you buy a Japanese car, your essentially strengthening their economy and tightening the noose around your own neck. And nevermind gunning innocent people down, YOU are the cause of your own demise.

I bought a Japanese car because I supported US car manufacturers with their sh*t offerings which lacked mechanical and electrical longevity for 27 years....nice now just to fill the gas, change oil, and drive troublefree..

I shop Wallyworld because they have what I am looking for without spending a day looking....

Hey, teach your kids Mandarin, they will prosper in the coming decades....

Aren't Japanese cars made in the USA?

2006 Acura Tsx made totally in Japan....(european sports accord)

Leather, all the bells and whistles, fully packed with family and luggage with air conditioning blasting last summer with cruise on at 75 mph average, got 32 mpg on trip to Minnesota.

Have had many cars in my lifetime, usually trade them after 4-5 years, this is the first I will keep until the wheels fall off.
