Shitty day for me.
No excuse for the Ravens to lose that game. The entire coaching staff should be fired. Period.
They get ahead, and this happens all the fucking time, and they get way too conservative on offense and defense. Stupid.
I knew they were going to lose when they settled for the FG at the 4 minute mark.
Christ, I'm pissed.
brother,the last two weeks our defense(really the secondary and cover lbs) have given up nearly 1,000 yards of total offense.....the chargers had 60-odd yards rushing but over 380 passing....
we couldn`t cover a cadaver...the last two years newsome drafted exclusively defensive players in the 1st 3 rounds....we had webb coming off a serious back injury and his status for the year was ???...behind him we had a mediocre asa Jackson and a horrid chykie brown(since departed)....
so what did we do in the draft?...more defensive lineman(we did draft elam and Terence brooks at safety but both have been busts so far)....it`s ridiculous....all we hear is "best player available" but that becomes absurd when you start going 3 deep at certain positions and your ass is bare at others....the league has been morphing into a passing league the last few years(particularly with the rule changes)....there were 22 penalties called in our game today(14 on the ravens and a good number on our secondary)...
how we thought we could let cary Williams(philly) and corey graham(buffalo) walk is beyond me...
we aren`t going anywhere with that secondary...I`m now convinced of it...we`ve lost two games to cincy on last possesions and now this to the chargers....people on the ravens` board were calling on the ravens to let the chargers score on the last drive(which started at their own 20.lol) because they knew our secondary would fold yet again....
and they did...our front office is living in the past....
