Are they playing for anything tonight?

Seems like they are a lock for 2 seed if they beat oak next week but pats already clinched 1 seed

They need a win to clinch a first round bye. I can't imagine that they would save themselves for next week to accomplish that.

Greenie - Pats haven't clinched the 1 seed yet BTW. They secured one of the 2 byes with the W yesterday. Beat Buffalo and the 1 seed is theirs, but if they lose to the Bills and Denver wins tonight/against Oakland the Pats then get the 2 seed. At home, vs. the Bills I think they should handle their business, but stranger things have happened!

Thanks guys, just thinking through this

If you are Denver, you don't want to sit Peyton next week and have a bye (2 weeks off). Feels like I would pull him early, play him next week to lock up bye, then rest in off week

Personally, I don't see Peyton sitting at anytime the next few weeks. If the Broncos win tonight, the Patriots - Bills are being moved to the 4:25 game, to play opposite Oakland-Denver. CBS setting the table to keep things interesting in both games with the 1 seed on the line.

Good luck with your play whichever way you go tonight buddy.
