You do have the ability to file liens against this builder. Keith is correct in that they are not Mechanics liens, but a different type. But like I said before, its difficult and time consuming, so maybe an attorney is the right answer here. Or like White Shadow said, have your "Old pal Beantown Jim" give his buddy Johnny Knockdown a call :142smilie

If you were acting as the general contractor you may be able to use the mechanics lean. Also, in your next trip to court include the cost of going to court in your request for judegment. Last, I know it's not much but check with the Better Business Bureau and file complaints. Good luck
