A Spanish matador has been blinded in his left eye and paralysed down that side of his face after he was horrifically gored during a bullfight.
The bull's horn pierced Juan Jose Padilla's jaw and emerged through his left eye socket during the grizzly incident at the northeastern city of Zaragoza's Fiestas Del Pilar event yesterday.
With blood gushing from his head, he was helped out of the ring screaming 'I can't see, I can't see' :142smilie

You bleeding heart PETA-types who hold animals in higher regard than people make me sick. I do not approve of bullfights, cockfights or anything of the sort, but to root on death and dismemberment of human beings is pathetic.

How would you feel if someone was torturing another human, and that person got in a parting shot?

Although the OP does seem the have a little too much glee in their post, I don't think this has anything to do with PETA, or placing animals above humans.

Personally, I feel someone who can torture an animal for their own amusement, should be the one whose humanaty you are questioning.

To be clear, I find bullfighting despicable, and am no way condoning it. I honestly can't believe that it exists in modern times.

I do not hold animals in higher regard than humans - however I really don't have a problem with a human being killed by an animal. None whatsoever when it comes to this kind of situation. You fuck with the bull, you get the horns and I am ok with that.

Grizzly bear attacking a family while camping is obviously different. But still, I am glad for the bull! Fuck that guy.

My problem is with anyone who actively roots on the the death and mauling of a human being. While I do not condone the behavior of the matador, I am unwilling to cheer on his demise or sit around while others do so. Think about it, he is most likely a father, a son, a brother and husband. Several in this thread make me sick.
