Pissed me off letting him stay in there. There was no reason for the Cards to have more than 2 runs. Bum should have been pulled way before. I'm still fuming. I knew that HR was coming.

The D-backs have designated left-hander Madison Bumgarner for assignment, a source told MLB.com's Steve Gilbert on Thursday. The club has not confirmed the move.
Bumgarner has gotten off to a slow start to the 2023 season with an 0-3 record and 10.26 ERA. In three-plus seasons since coming over to Arizona in 2020, he compiled a 5.23 ERA over 69 starts.
