Just like to see them paid a decent wage. We can't get rid of the military, because our Gov't can't seem to stay out of others business.

Sponge,
I've said it before and I will say it again, those who are in the military AND can live within their means, have an average to above average quality of life.

Marine i understand what you mean about them having some control with their spending but some of these guys are kids. Yes when i was that age i was scared to owe someone a dollar and had that discipline but a lot of people don't. Kinda like this welfare bullshit. I think we should stop it cold right now. No more new people on the welfare rolls unless you are incapable of living by yourself but these scummy people will still keep getting pregnant so what the hell do you do?
I was just reading about those pay day loans a lot of military guys are getting sucked into. Those dam shops shouldn't be allowed to be within 100 miles of a base. But then again people have to have some self control.

Welcome to the world of DTB. Stick around you haven't seen anything yet. Bushes approval rating is at 28 percent and DTB has been there for every point drop and if it went to 1 it would be him still standing tall with our :mj02: comander the thief

another deception of the media is that 28 %. I know a few people that support bush. That 28 % is a lie....It's more like 5 %....A few still think they would rather be in the bunker until cyanide day comes.

If you now listen to Sean Hannity and Billy O', they are not so gung ho on this administration

Sean " HEY ABBOT " Hannity is now usually concentrating on the republican candidates

But i will admit one thing, The Iranians are petrified of BUSH... he just might pull the trigger...this worries The Iranians

I am not anti bush..just think his thinking is corrupted by others...

I wouldn't mind if he unleashes a few atoms on these Ratbag Iranians...he still has time to get the score even

I'm Sure you don't mean that. Iran had nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. But we sure have gotten our self more enemies by invading Iraq. They have long memories and take there time getting even. I only hope we can stop them. It's on Bush and Cheney what ever happens. Whole dam world was with us on Afghanistan. But Bush just could not stop there.

Whether military personnel make enough money to raise their kids and support a family is beside the point - maybe they don't, but even if they did, a 3% raise is ridiculous. I worked for many years doing research for the military and we got a minimum of 6% a year, depending on performance. Last year I got 10%. But I guess the people developing military science are somehow more important than those risking their lives...

And sponge, tuna is expensive, but instead of using illegals to bring the cost down, you should just eat less. It is full of mercury and not really good for your health :SIB
