Dear Raymond,

We are only days away from the opening proceedings of what will be one of the most important political conventions in our country's history.

We are going to honor the courage of our nation, the compassion of our people and the promise of our future.

We will provide stark contrast in this election, while John Kerry continues to try and have it both ways.

Shadow groups formed for the expressed purpose of defeating President Bush and electing John Kerry have spent $63 million attacking the president, while John Kerry remained silent. But when anti-Kerry groups began to run ads against him, he thunders in righteous indignation.

John Kerry can't have it both ways.

He can't say that somebody in Swift Boat Veterans for Truth knowing somebody who knows Karl Rove is proof of illegal coordination--when his former campaign manager works for three of the 527s attacking the President; when an executive committee member of the Democratic National Committee heads The Media Fund; and when the chairman of the Democratic Convention also heads Moving America Forward, a pro-Kerry 527.

John Kerry can't have it both ways.

John Kerry can't say that Ben Ginsberg providing legal advice to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth while serving as outside counsel to the Bush-Cheney campaign is evidence of illegal coordination when Bob Bauer serves as legal counsel to both the Kerry campaign and America Coming Together, and Joe Sandler serves as General Counsel to the Democratic National Committee and to Moveon.org and Moving America Forward all at the same time.

Bob Bauer and Joe Sandler are not likely to resign any time soon, but I respect Ben for deciding to do so.

John Kerry can't have it both ways.

We are a party of ideas and our President has led in providing solutions to the challenges we face.

The American people recognize the President's commitment to getting results. In a Los Angeles Times poll released today, 52% of registered voters--not likely, but registered voters--approve of the job that President Bush is doing and has him now with a three-point lead over Senator Kerry as we go in to our convention.

The poll shows 15% of Democrats crossing party lines in support of President Bush. Senator Zell Miller will be giving voice to a lot of voters here Wednesday night.

In Boston, Senator Kerry missed an opportunity to outline his vision for the future choosing instead to look back. In New York, we won't spend all our time looking backward. We will talk about the new challenges we face as a nation and new policies to address them.

And we will win in November.

Sincerely,
[http://www.gop.com/GOPDirectory/LeaderBio.aspx?ID=8]

I only hope if your right Ray. Well first I hope this time he gets more votes then his opponent. I also hope he's learned to listen to other folks other then just Cheney/Rumsfeld. We as a country cant handle another 4 years like we just went thru with out some big problems developing. You can not keep avoiding the issue why so many folks are slipping into poverty. Some of that money were throwing away overseas needs to stay home. I don't care who does it. Just do it.

Doc if we can do it for half the world like Iraq. Whats wrong with trying it here first. And the way the government can stay out of it is makeing sure tricke down works. Bailing them out with a fair wage for those who work is not such a poor idea.

Dear RAYMOND,

I'm a Democrat. I went to my first political convention in 1972 as a Scoop Jackson Democrat - pro defense. Twelve years ago, I left my home in the mountains of North Georgia on a trip to New York. That trip culminated with a keynote address to the National Convention of a political party. But despite my Georgia roots, and despite my conservative beliefs, it was not the Republican National Convention, it was the Democrats.

In just two days, I will speak again in New York, but this time the party is the Republicans, and this time the candidate is George W. Bush. While much has changed in the last 12 years, my Party has not. I'm still a Democrat, and I support the President.

Will you show your support? Will you contribute at www.GeorgeWBush.com/ZellMiller

I have been asked many times why I, and so many other Democrats, support President Bush. The answer is simple - he is the right man to lead our nation at this time.

I have also been asked why I don't support John Kerry. That answer is also simple - you can't make a chicken swim and you can't make John Kerry anything but an out-of-touch ultra liberal from Massachusetts.

The Democratic Party today has drifted far, far to the left and they have become completely beholden to the various left-leaning, liberal special interest groups for whom they depend upon for money and for manpower.

I choose instead to support the President. Will you join me? Will you give $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or even $50 to help the President's campaign? www.GeorgeWBush.com/ZellMiller

There are many Democrats like me, Democrats who believe in a strong military, and giving our military what it needs to get the job done.

When the Democrats met in Boston, they talked a lot about John Kerry's service in Vietnam, but barely even mentioned his 20 years in the Senate.

Let me say as clearly as I can, what Lieutenant John Kerry did in Vietnam, is to be praised, and we should thank him for it every day, but not his shameful record on national defense as a U.S. Senator. And not for voting to send our troops to war, but against the $87 billion to give them the equipment to fight that war.

I am honored to be speaking in New York, and I am proud to be a Democrat. Mostly, I am proud to support President George W Bush. I hope you will join me.

Sincerely,

President Bush is taking the offensive against terrorism in order to prevent
another deadly attack here at home. The "Bush Doctrine" is a policy designed
to strike first at those who wish us harm and to pave the way for democracy
and freedom in the middle east. Whether you are a Republican a Democrat or
an Independent the fact remains that difficult decisions must be made and
that the immediate reults will not always be pretty.George Bush is a leader
who understands that the price of freedom is high and that a failure to act
agressively will result in the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

George Bush is a President who believes in fighting for our future and he
has the courage and conviction to do what is right.

Dear RAYMOND,

Last night I had the great honor to speak at the Republican National Convention on behalf of President George W. Bush and the Republican Party.

To think that a once-scrawny boy from Austria could grow up to become Governor of California ... and stand in Madison Square Garden to speak on behalf of the President of the United States ... The pride I felt reminded me of the day 21 years ago when I raised my hand and took the oath of citizenship.

America gave me opportunities, and my immigrant dreams came true. I want other people to get the same chances I did, the same opportunities. And I believe they can.

That's why I believe in this country, that's why I believe in this party - and that's why I believe in this President.

When President Bush took office, our economy was slipping into decline. He cut taxes, unleashed the power of America's free enterprise economy, and now our country is coming back.

America has the highest economic growth of any industrialized nation in the world and we are creating new jobs at a rapid pace.

Less than a year after President Bush took office, our nation was attacked - and we are fighting back!

That's what I admire most about the President. He's a man of perseverance. He's a man of inner strength. He is a leader who doesn't flinch ... doesn't waver does not back down. He knows you can't reason with terrorists, you must defeat them.

Our President, George W. Bush, has worked hard to protect and preserve the American Dream for all of us.

Now it is our turn to keep him on the job and send him a Congress that will work with him by contributing $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or even $50 to the Republican National Committee (RNC).

The legal deadline has passed for contributing directly to the President's campaign. But, your contribution to the RNC will help the President and Republicans throughout the country win in November.

This election could be very close and every dollar counts. Please send your most generous contribution today.

Sincerely,
[http://www.gop.com/Arnold/]

Dear RAYMOND,

Tonight, my husband accepts our Party's nomination for the Presidency of the United States, and we begin a critical two-month period in the campaign. In two months, the American people will make an important decision for the future of our nation. And we'll work hard to ensure they make the right choice for a better America by casting their vote for President George W. Bush and the Republican ticket.

This is our last campaign on a long road that began when George first ran for Congress in 1978. Campaigns have changed a lot since then. But we still love the very best part of every campaign, and that's the people -- the wonderful people we meet all across our country. Thank you to all who are helping the President and the Republican ticket win in November.

We appreciate the contributions, the phone calls, the neighborhood walks, the rallies, and the thousands of you who are hosting convention watch parties tonight. But the toughest period is still to come . While the deadline has passed to contribute funds to Bush-Cheney '04, you may still support the re-election of the President and the Republican ticket by contributing to the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Contribute today

I'm grateful for the opportunity to travel the nation and talk with Americans from diverse backgrounds. I've seen what Americans are capable of when they live in an environment that allows their hard work to create stronger communities and thriving businesses.

In the last four years, President Bush has worked with the Congress to create an economic environment in which entrepreneurs can succeed and small businesses can flourish and grow. And with your help, in the next four years, the President and Republican leaders in the House and Senate will continue to move America forward with an economic agenda that meets the needs of all Americans.

Contribute today

All across America, men and women are realizing the American dream of ownership and helping our economy grow stronger. It hasn't been easy. We've been through a lot, from recession to terror attacks to corporate scandals. But our economy remains the strongest in the world, thanks to our party's commitment to tax relief and making sure workers keep more of their own money.

President Bush and the Republican Party stand solidly with men and women from every corner of America who are working to make life better for themselves and their neighbors. I'm proud of their belief that we should all have an equal opportunity to achieve our dreams. I'm proud that George has the most diverse administration in history. To be sure we have a President and Members of Congress who share your values of hard work, integrity, and independence, please contribute $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or even $50 to the RNC today.

Thanks to President Bush's leadership, Americans are moving forward with great confidence in our ability to overcome challenges. These are times that require particularly strong and determined leaders. And I'm proud my husband is that kind of leader. With your support he'll continue to work with Republicans in Congress to make our country safer, our economy stronger, and the future better for every American.

Sincerely,
