Enjoyed watching that game. Its what college basketball is all about this time of year.
Emotion wins games and as I stated Kansas St was emotionally spent from the 2 OT Xavier game. It takes a toll mentally .
I was very concerned about Butler having over 18
turnovers. Sloppy ball handling that can cost you games as you get into the Final Four.
Man but what grit and determination Butler has.
They were able to slow the game down to their pace, and take Kansas St out of their run and gun rhythm.
While I am talking shooters, Denis Clemente with Kansas St is one of the best clutch shooters I have ever seen in college ball, and thats saying alot. This kid makes shit happen. I dont like the play hurt and grimicing part of his game, but damn you cannot stop the guy. Kansas St stopped going into Kelly inside. What a mistake that was.
The reason I love March Madness is that you get to see the teams advance and watch closely for ball skills, coaching, FG % , three point shooters, Foul shot % , run and gun, defense and all the other things you have to look for to win at college tournament basketball.
I did not play the Kentucky / West V game tonight because I have not seen West V play .
Got to stay focused and make sound decisions and not just guess at plays. I have won with Kentucky already, but thats not good enough.
Got the next play coming up shortly .
