seymore. looks like they're calling for it. i just got over a cold and don't really feel like playing in 40-some degree rain.
Yeah, it's about time for us Indiana golfers to put the sticks up for the year. We haven't had much play at the club recently.

How many chips do you start with in these circuit events? I'm assuming the blind structure is a lot better than the Tuesday/Thursday midnight tournies?

the board said 56 players left when i got knocked out. they had 340 to start. i can get deep but can't seem to make the $$$. one dumb play and you're history.
we started with $3000 in chips.
i am happy with my play, i guess. cards were fair. i stayed about average for most of the tourney. it became an all in fest when the blinds were 400/800 with 100 ante.
not many notable hands.
lost a huge pot around the 5th level when my JJ lost to 88 when we got it all in preflop.
got it back a few hands later when my Q8 won vs KQ. we got it all in on the Q73 flop and i rivered an 8
last hand (man, i'm a dumbass) i limped from the button (no callers) with 56s. sb called and bb made it $2500. (blinds were 400/800 with 100 ante). i called and sb called. flop comes 952 rainbow. check, check and jack goes all in. sb folds and bb goes in the tank. about 10 minutes probably. finally he calls with J9, i get no help and hit the road.
had a good time though and would go back today but leave for a golf scramble in 10 minutes.
today is $1000 buyin nlhe
tomorrow is 500 nlhe
monday is 300 nlhe and wednesday is the 5000 nlhe.
they have shitloads of satellites going constantly. i might go back monday and try to win a seat in the ME and play the tourney that day.
the 300 buyin tourneys start you with 1500 i think which i dont like. i like at least 3000. the ME starts you with 10,000.
