Hoosier country
It is a different country. So regardless of how much time will be spent there, you will require a passport to cross the border.

Peace! :)

Several states offer enhanced drivers licenses. In NY it costs an additional $30. With an enhanced license, a Passport for Canadian entry is not required. I don't know if Pennsylvania offers it.

I've been to Canada several times without a passport. Wonder when this requirement changed?

It changed a long time ago, guess it has been a while since you popped across the border.

My feelings are hurt.

If we go to Niagara Falls do you need a passport to cross over in Canada or since you are only going over for a few hours does it matter?

PAChicky if you decide to "sneak into Canada" (swim across the river, lol) you'll still need your passport to get back into USA.....

"All travellers, including US and Canadian citizens, must present a valid passport or other approved secure document when entering the United States."
