Get this....

Dimes offers bets by quarters. Now, for the Giants/Packer game here's what up there RIGHT NOW -

Over/Under for 1st quarter -> 10 1/2

They also offer an O/U for each team....

O/U FIRST QUARTER - Packers score O/U 3 1/2
O/U FIRST QUARTER - Giants score O/U 3 1/2

WTF?? Should I waste my time betting this just to have them tell me the bet is Void? Or, can this be real?

I've never seen them "playing around" with the ODDS before instead of the spread/points.

Your right...

Packers OVER 3 1/2 is at -250
Packers UNDER 3 1/2 is at +375

Giants OVER 3 1/2 is at -120
Giants UNDER3 1/2 is at +250

Hmmm, something tells me there's a play in here :00x32

I like the way you think, Bisket23.

Playing quarters is more like flipping coins than solid handicapping. LUCK plays a bigger part of the equation and that means ... GO FOR THE ODDS AND KEEP YA FINGERS CROSSED.

I'm gonna take a look at the stats to see if there's a difference between these two regarding how each gets out of the gate and how each closes late. (Yeah, I'm a horse player ) I already know the Giants are CLOSERS. Eli is something else and why they dropped Plexico is beyond me.

Game plan is :

Take a shot at getting the better payoff for the amateurish play (Packers UNDER 3 1/2 first quart.at ). Wound up getting +250 on that play. How many times will Packers see the ball first quarter... 2; maybe 3? Think fresh Giant defense can keep them down to field goal. Both teams may feel out the other with a running game to start?

Then...
watch first half and see about a 2nd half "PRO Play

Does that mean,"Where's the 2nd half play?". I JUST got it in and woulda been too late to post. Looked for ANYthing to do with the GIANTS.

Wound up taking "Giant's score over 10 pts, second half".

Plenty of lead time for this one (put the popcorn down, LOL). Here's where I'll be when they play SF.

Let's see.... how bout - "G-Men one mo time?" Already got a parlay with that one plus a couple of tennis picks (only other sport I play except for college FB).

They got their act together and with a closer like Eli - no sucker (first half, quarters, coin tosses) bets .. JUST a straight line bet for the GAME.

49ers got it, BARELY, done vs. a top offensive team; let's see how they do vs. a top defensive team. On the road?.. . don't see that presenting any problems for Giants.
