Cut down my number of picks. I like 8.

In order Best to least favorite:

EDM pk
OTT -.5
LA -1.5
FLA pk and Over 5
CAR pk
DAL +.5
NASH +.5

May get rid of Car, Dal, and Nash

Any opinions?

What you are facing is a day with a lot of games to pick from, and you have handicapped 8 that you like. It is possible that you should play them all, if you have a valid reason in making your picks.
There are a limited number of games to play in the course of a season, and you will have days when you will make no picks - just nothing looks good. The best cappers on this site seem to limit their plays to a small number. Stag picks one or 2 a day. Same for Nick and Fredd and Sam.
Money management of some form is necessary when you have a lot of picks and like them all. Maybe play 2 units on your top plays, 1 unit on the medium, and 1/2 unit on the least favorite.
I have a few more plays than normal today, but my normal play is 1 unit on all bets, occasionally may play 2 units if I feel it is a strong play. Stag will lay 5 or 10 units, but posts only one or 2 games here.
I see nothing wrong with you playing all of the games if you stay within the confines of your daily allotment of % of total bankroll. You will develop a feel for this with some experience.

Good luck whatever you decide....

Thanks IP

Appreciate the advice. Still pretty new at hockey, baseball is my game. Starting to really enjoy hockey though. Think I'm going to keep it at 5 for today. Yesterday was bad for me, don't need another one.

Kind of late but...

Playing many games in NHL is hard because of the heavy juice. Going 3-2 might still mean a losing nite unit-wise.

With dogs you only need to be around 50% to make $$ but making more plays means you need more dogs to hit. Is it reasonable to expect 3 dogs out 5 plays to hit? Possible yes, but likely...probably not.

Now let's say you just play 2 games. 1-1 you lose a bit with faves and win a bit with dogs. 2-0 and you're smiling. 0-2, well it's not your day and if your top 2 plays lost, adding 3 more plays probably isn't a good idea.

I'm just using 5 games and 2 games as an example. But the point is, playing more is IMO more difficult. Isn't there a saying that no matter how hot you are, if you sit in a casino long enough...you'll end up losing it back. Casinos aren't afraid of you winning, they're afraid you won't stay long enough or come back.

Speaking of which, I was at casino today. Small bankroll of $400. First shoe is up and down and then they switch dealers. This GORGEOUS blonde sits down and starts dealing. Right away my luck changes and I'm up $375. At this point I should've walked away because an almost 100% return is better than anyone could ask for playing blackjack. Well, I keep playing for the sake of gawking at this dealer, and I also wanted to see how long this hot streak would last. Sure enough, she started pulling cards and I started losing. So I stop right there while I'm still up 200.
