Did I have the ONLY winning ticket on that there Bet 3?

Did I have the ONLY winning ticket on that there Bet 3?

Get this....

Needed the 1 or 5 or 6 in the third leg (8th). Which one wins? .... . . the no. 5,

BUT, EACH one of my live runners in the 8th woulda paid the same amount -> $2062. That there no. 5 went off at 12 to 1 , SOMANA BEACH! The odds of the Bet3 wieners were 5/1, 33/1, and 12/1 respectively. SHEET!

BTW I bet over a hundred on backups in the 8th to insure I was gonna go home a wiener :(
BTW 2, I also hit the Bet 3 that I picked out to play yesterday (think it paid $195) :)

The thing that has been working with these kind of bets I've been trying out lately (2 for 2 so far) is to find 3 consecutive waces that you think you can nail and only play that Bet 3. They offer several BET3 bets each day so you get to pretty much choose which one suits you. I picked this one for today...

Whatever the case, it's gonna be party time tonight around here.

thanks, Hammy

thanks, Hammy

and same to you. Hope you've been doing, feeling well.

Of course, the bets were for half the $2 payoff, but half of one like today's is good enough for me even though, after all was said and done, I think those 3 wieners shoulda paid much more.

It's gonna be interesting how I do my two "luckier days", Mon. and Tues. I prob. won't post a thing here for all the mystery guests and it is time consuming to do all the capping and how to betem for this new betting "system" I gots. I DO rate them exactly the same way I've been doing all along though.

With the French Open going on, that takes even more time esp. since I watch most of the matches. Betem? ... U betcha I do.

Triple Crown?

Since we all (almost ALL, not sure?) made our contribution for the Derby for this year.... I didn't bother with the Preakness. I usually use that race to just see if it verified the Derby result.. and it DID :(

Well pretty much verified that my rating thingy doesn't work for Kentucky Derbies as well. I've always used the Belmont as a chance to beat the figure hoss and I've had, by far, the most luck with the Belmont than the other two in the past. I'll prob. be looking for a well built hoss, on the pace type, and prob. a new face. The plan is to bet and jump in here with something for the Belmont. If the field is too small, I'll be passing it up and use that time for concentrating on my good ole Philly dirt bombs. LOL (dating myself with "LOL" ? The ding-a-lings with the mobile toys are changing the English language and I'm getting left behind. :mj07: ).

Good luck whatever your gamplans are, Hammy.

Looks like Hammy gave up

Looks like Hammy gave up

... and I can't blame him.

Here's something that may be of interest - the Bet 3 for today was the 7th. Now, the 3 plicks for this first leg were IN ORDER (too) -->2-6-3. This is really something else and NO, I didn't play trifectas or exacta in this race, just started off the Plick 3 for today.

The exact finish?.... TWO, SIX, THREE.... Son - Ah - Ma - BEACH Grrrr!
Thems are magic no. exactas too. Well, at least thems were favorites so I didn't miss too much, CEPT for a decent tri anyways.

Next leg is a TURF race, NOT my cup of tea and this race is the reason I'm not very confident about my chances today.

Oh well....

Oh well....

Got beat by the huge favorite (3/5) and he had to run his ass off in the entire stretch to do it too. :(
Two of my 3 plicks ran 2nd (8/1)and 3rd (5/2).

Forgot to press the SEND button, and since the last race is now over I can write that I got dispatched (er, that means LOSAH) today. Favorites and me USUALLY don't mix. PLENTY of loot in the bankaroo to play (despite the fact that I made sho I got half of it on the way home).

Our guests prob. know what tomorrow is, if not, it's WHIP ASS DAY.

TODAY is different - you know a veteran? Do a little something special to show you are aware of what they went through or are still going through to benefit all Americans. I try not to think of politics, ego, or blunders on days like today, it's just sickening.

nice hit on the P3. I dont play horizontals much but did hit the chalky P5 on Preakness day at Pimlico. still paid decent.

cant wait for Belmont. think Pharoah goes down.

love what I am seeing out of Mubtaahij. having Irad Ortiz on board only sweetens it.

would be surprised if this one doesn't hit the board somewhere, and the price will be right.

less than 2 weeks out now. GL

Got more on Belmont later

Got more on Belmont later

Longshots are overdue today (Tues) at philly

If there 's gonna be one in this 8th race, think it's gonna be the no. 6 or 9.
4mins to post.

EDITED: l'll just put the results here now that the race is over. No. 6 led for about 7/8s of the race and was looking pretty good but you get nuthin for that :(. Plick3 for today... Hmmm, not as easy as I thought; got booted out of the pool in the 1st leg today.

Last race is a good ole fashioned, verified Philly Absolute DIRT BAGS. One of the bestest bets to make lately is to play the favorite in the last race and I THINK that would be no. 10. I'm gonna look for something better :)

Gotta spread em out when trying to beat the fav

Gotta spread em out when trying to beat the fav

Going with the 4 and 8; a few exacta boxes with the no. 3 in them, and LONGSHOT for today is "now" no. 9, small bet to WIN, only.

GL

EDITED: Just want to mention that it looks like nobody is following me with that there no. 9 hoss. I like that... but kinda "worried" cause that one in now 74/1. There're just starting to load. G.L

UT, LATE SCWATCH... NO. 7 (who cares)
