XYZ, if your reason for being skeptic is that you dont think a commercial jet flew into a jet because you find it hard to believe that the military wasn't on high alert and i would think they would shoot down a plane immediately if they thought it was heading for the pentagon.
I appreciate you stinking around and talking to me and I do agree that one would expect the plane to be shot down. I cant argue with you there, but I will listen to both sides and yes believing that there were terrorists attacks on the US has alot fewer major holes in it then coming up with whatever story that would fit with the few ? surrounding the terrorists attacks.
To be honest I didnt watch any of beertimes videos either, i couldnt understand what he was saying in any posts but if i get the chance then i will preview those as well but i have seen the original video more than once.

I geuss we will all have to agree to disagree and im sure history will show us what actually happened, I will be curious if anyone has logical answers to the questions i posed

I didn't see that PBS special but they could have pulled it down due to the substained damage of falling debri. It might have been a hazard and damaged beyond repair. I really don't know why they didn't include #7 in the final report. To be fair I would say this administration has more of a policy of "its none of your business" than they do of "if you can't explain it don't talk about it", i don't think either is a very good policy though.
I totally agree that if you have questions that aren't answered then u should keep asking them. I would love to actually hear the answer and if it does bring about the unveiling of a massize coverup then honestly god help us all, and Bush. But as for me I find it alot easier to swallow a building being left out of the commision report, than to swallow that there is a massive cover up mainly because of the questions that I would like answered if there is a coverup.

It is true that SOME of Bushes Freinds have made lost of money, primarily the oil and defense industries. BUT other industries have been hit very hard like the tech sector, which among many other things has an indicator of a strong economy and losing billions in Iraq has hurt the Tech sector since we have gone to war.
But say he is not AS good of freinds with those people as his oil friends, Why not control the Saudi's oil! They have by far the richest and most extensive oil suplies in the world?!?! Or Iran which has even more than Iraq and known terrorists as well.
And if his primary goal is to control the oil then why not drill in Alaska or have another catastrophe happen so that we can drill there? Like Blow up the San Francisco Bridge(wtc), then say the Russians did it(Afghans), then go to war with the Alaskans(Iraq) because they have a climate and skin type that is similar to Russians(Afghans) and Americans wont know the difference.
And yes more money = more power but to kill thousands of your own innocent people seems insane to me. And if Bush did it for more money(hes already a multimillionaire) and more power (hes already the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES) then what is keeping everyone that would have to be involved in this coverup quiet?

I do appreciate your responses Hippo but, you didnt answer alot of my questions, u only answered one and that lead to alot of other questions that one would have to be skeptic of as well before one could jump in the bandwagon of saying our president is insane and wants to kill as many of us as long as he is still making a profit for him and his freinds by killing us.

blgstocks - well this is a bit off the original topic now, but you asked the questions, so I guess my answers are valid. I could go on forever... so this will be my last post in this thread because I don't want to bore the forum...

You ask why not control the Saudis oil, well luckily Bush-Carlyle Group are great buddies with the Saudi Royal Family, so for now our oil contracts are safe there. As for Iran, I think that it was next on the plan if the invasion on Iraq had worked out according to plan. Our government says they have the potential to develop nuclear weapons, although they are ten years away; Iran holds 1/10 of the world's remaining petroleum and 1/6 of the world's natural gas. There are hints at invasion. As John Bolton told reporters in March, "If this is deja vu, then so be it. That is the course we are on."

I don't think that we need a disaster in order to be able to drill in Alaska. It is unfortunate, but if it comes down to really needing the oil, they will drill. And is there really that much up there that it is worth the investment? Perhaps... still extending the inevitable. Instead of investing money in drilling in Alaska, Bush shoud reinstate fully the DOE budget that he cut in 2004 right after he was re-elected. This DOE budget included alternative energy research being conducted at NREL (I know because we have had to desperately raise funds and fire solar cell researchers in our group because of these cutbacks.)

What is keeping everyone quiet? Fear, perhaps. And yes - to kill thousands of innocent people is unbelievable. But now in addition to all those people who died on 9/11 there are 2536 additional military personnel dead and over 38,000 civilians (in an invasion unrelated to Bin Laden & 9/11, but somehow justified by it). And to me, life is of supreme value - no matter if you are Iraqi, American, mixed mutt or whatever...

I am too sensitive of a person and this world is too much for me to comprehend sometimes. It is a curse and a blessing. I meditate daily on the injustices in the world, and anytime someone dies wrongly, such as the victims of 9/11, and all the resulting deaths in Iraq, and the 17,000 children that die every day from starvation, it tears me up inside. Then I give thanks for the easy life I have and try to understand how our government and people with all our riches can't try to help more people in the world instead of harming them. I mean 38,000 civilians dead - who are the terrorists now??? If we try to help people instead, maybe everyone in the world wouldn't hate us so much and we wouldn't have to worry so much about terrorists. :shrug:

This was a very long time ago, and I no longer remember the relevant facts, (unfortunate), but I remember as a teen (mid 70's) hearing of some very questionable government crap involving the Warren Commission, and the results were sealed until right about now or in the next few years or so. (They wanted to make sure all of the Commission would be dead before these finding were released.) That should tell us something about that Commission, and whatever event that was involved, and give you guys some hint about what your Government does to you.

Now, regardless of what information those files hold on the Kennedy assassination, doesn't it make you scratch your balls just a bit as to why a government "of the people, by the people, for the people", would find it necessary to lock findings away from those people, for 75 years?

Yeah I hear ya hippo, i thank God everyday for the blessings he has givin me, i think we would all live better lives if we took more of our time just counting our blessings instead of wishing for more, i just wish i would take my advice more often. I truly do not know what it would take for more of the world not to hate us, but call me an ignorant american and i know this isn't what you are saying but i don't think we should be trying to live our lives and run our govt to make other people happy.

I am surprised that anyone would believe that the planes were the sole reason for the collapse of the WTC................when Silverstein or whatever his name is says that the decision for Building 7 to be pulled was made........that tells me right there that explosives where already in place............WTF.........did these buildings come pre equipped with explosives..........to put explosives in a 47 story building would have had to take more than 5 hrs or so...........

What a crock.............funny how this kind of stuff never makes it on the major networks...............but you know what..........
