Drove one today. 60 mpg, one of the smartest cars I have EVER seen! Rides like a dream! Roomy, safe, smart, great warranty, 50-60 mpg. I will get $3,000 wrote off on my taxes. I mean, WTF!

WTF is it...I wouldn't buy it from this pic....

Toyota Prius.

I'm telling you it's one of the best cars I have ever seen!

My only worry is safety. Has all the airbags, side curtain etc.

Has all the anti-lock break, break assist, stability control, back up camera.

Fukcin car is fantastic!

A friend of mine bought one a few years back in order to take advantage of the allowance for clean fuel cars on the HOV lanes commuting to DC. She absolutely loves it! She said you forget how ugly it is once you're inside.

Did I mention the 'smart keys'?

All you have to do is have them in your pocket and it unlocks auto for you! And starts!

Hell, I thought the first Prius models looked better than the replacements.

What does your average commute consist of? Mileages varies and the car is really only "green" if it's driven around town and below 30mph.

The tax rebate should offset the premium that you are overpaying for a compact. If you drive enough miles, you should be able to recoup those costs but nobody seems to want to be the owner of a Prius when they will need a replacement battery.
