Do you think Quick's slight regression this regular season is just a combo of his off season surgery and the shorter schedule and not as many days off? He obviously has the experience to turn it on, but I'm curios if him, and the other net minders, that logged a ton of games this season comes back to bite those teams.
That theory is why I like the Pens and Anaheim as they had pretty even distribution of games between their two goalies, while neither of them were spectacular, they were all solid and should help them in the playoff run.
I have no problem with Canada. I like my neighbors...just don't know why they care so much about an American trophy they haven't seen in 20 years...
Poon...ridiculously rare to see two goalies for a prolonged stretch in playoffs...coaches will find hot hand and roll with it until it breaks...quick isn't as good as last years playoffs that will never be duplicated again probably...but the surgery and short season didn't help either..so hard to repeat because the regular season just isn't as important and u are tired from long postseason...quick will try and recapture that magic and we'll see if it happens...I like the pens a lot...defense is crucial but being able to outscore anyone doesn't hurt...I like the hawks, pens, and kings in that order for the cup.

While in theory I can see where you are coming from, I think the Stanley Cup hangover is a distinct possibility, unless maybe the extra time off because of the lockout possible mitigates that. It's rare these days that a team sees back to back finals, let alone winning back to back cups.
St Louis plays a scary style, they have basically been playing playoff style hockey all season

Understand that and wasn't implying anyone would be using a 2 goalie approach. Probably wasn't clear by my prior post, but I was more just considering 'use' or overuse of goalies in the shortened season. Meaning my hunch is that it gives the Pens and Ducks perhaps an overlooked advantage in that their #1 hasn't been used as much as other teams.
