Car Locks

Why did they put self locking doors on cars when you shut off the engine :shrug:

Pisses me off when you get out of the car go to the backend to get stuff out and it's locked and your keys are the the car!

all my locks automatically open when i put it in park and auto lock when i take it out of park. my driver door will not lock if the key is in the ignition :shrug:

As soon as I shut the door the other 3 & hatch lock. Drives me up a wall as up here you really don't need to lock doors.

Even had the child protection button on when I bought the car (Exploria), I'd get out start to head into a store and the kids would be locked in the car.........

see, when u drive an old beater like I do, these problems do not arise! :SIB

dad's envoy locks when u accelerate past 15 mph, and I thought that was bad!! His car will not let itself be locked if the keys are in the ignition. That has to be a design flaw that locks your car automatically when the keys are still in the ignition. :shrug:

Drives door stays unlocked....Just pisses me off when I go to get my beer out of the back and it's locked

Took my grandaughter to the market with me the other day. Parked the car and went around to get her out. The damn door was locked....back around to the drivers door and unlocked all the doors. back to her door and it was locked!! Did this 3 times!! :mj16:

Now I'm pissed and I looked at her and she is laughing. Granted now she is only 2 1/2 she took her shoe off and was locking the door with her toe!! Little smart ass!!
