Hi KC...I've walked down part of the road you're on...amazing how it really boils down to your health being your most valuable asset...I wish you and your wife all the best...a good attitude toward it all is half the battle...peace
Of course, I don't know what kind of back problems you have, but I have had serious ones myself. I have herniated discs in all three of my lower vertebrae. I have been relatively pain free without surgery using the following:
1. The McKenzie exercises (easy to find on google, if interested)
2. An inversion board.
3. The Spine-X physical therapy program.

We haven't crossed paths with posts too often, but that doesn't mean that I can't wish you the best of luck. Got a bad back myself, so I undersyand fully. Have always considered you a Jack old timer & gentlemen with fine threads/threads.
