WOW I still can't believe we lost.............The 2 biggest disapointments I didn't want to face was telling you guys ALL OF YOU that we lost THANKS FOR DOING IT HELEN!................and that I wanted to be able to personally hand over the trophy to Jack when I see him in a few weeks SORRY JACK oh yeh and 1 more thing I forgot "jackets" ..........can't we still get them girls????? MAD JACKS SOFTBALL for the superbowl party???? I'm serious we can always ad "CHAMPIONS" to the jacket next year That might make me feel better..........
fletcher - thanks for trying to talk me out of my tears..................I know I am a little over the top with this lose, BUT "WE" wanted it sooooooooo bad! I would have to agree though a perfect regular seaon had to be the JINX.......that just doesn't happen......

BTW-in reference to the kids I must say I am VERY passionate with almost everything I do.................My 13 yr old lost his champ game this year after 4 quarters of football no score and it went into OT thats how they lost, then my highschool son made it too . They played the prep school for the championship and lost . NOW THIS LOSE geeeeeeeez I'm not handling this well at all.............
Thanks so much to the people who still are behind us, especially you Jack you are the 1 I didn't want to tell! IT REALLY HELPS and DOES MAKE a difference..................and as always THANKS FOR SPONSORING US JACK! ! ! !

God I lost track how many times in 30 years of playing softball. How you have to fight that second place finish fealing. Same goes for about 12 years of hard ball. So now you have a goal already for next year. Tell you what it will feal so dam good when it happens. I do believe you will take with you next year what you improved on this year and win it all. Then you will have the new pressure of how to hang on to the top. But that will be tons of fun. Many say it's not fun to be on top and have everyone after you. Yes it is. So I want to congratulate you all on one hell-of agreat year. And wish you best of luck for next year when you win it all.

I feel for you, on Wed in vball we were the regular season champs and we lost in the championship game, and I am still pissed about it. I have my softball playoffs on Monday, we won the regular season in that as well, hopefully we can pull out the win in softball.

Tbonez0295, you shouldn't be ashamed to come in here and tell everyone you lost. There is only one team that wins the championship, but that doesn't mean you guys aren't winners. As long as you went out there and had fun and played your best, you can't ask yourself for anything more than that. You were playing a "Game", and as I am sure you have seen in the past with your kids games and yours as well, many different things can happen, good and bad. One untimely error can be the difference between winning and losing the game. In short, second is not where you wanted to be, but it is better than last, and it will only make you better next year.
And now if I may blow a little smoke. This year was my daughters first year of playing softball. In the championship game of the post season tourney, she was at the plate, 3-2 count, two outs, runners on second and third facing one of the best pitchers in the league. I kept telling her to swing earlier beings this girl was throwing smoke. She sent a bullet between the first and second baseman and both base-runners scored which turned out to be the winning runs as the other team scored 3 runs in the bottom of the last inning which would have tied the game had it not been for my daughters two RBI's.
Good Luck in the future and no sense in hanging your head low. Look at all the other people out there with more problems than you and it should put things in perspective. Sometimes I think life sucks until I see a child fighting for his life and then I realize I don't have it so bad. Neither do you. Go get em next year.
