Ravens keep their undefeated home record against AFC West opponents as the defensive front picks on the Chargers offensive line all afternoon. Dumervil gets at least two sacks with Suggs getting one. Running back Justin Forsett gets his 1000-yard rushing season and 2 touchdowns, while Flacco finds Torrey Smith late in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Ravens win 24-17. ~Brian Bower
In their history, the Ravens have almost always prevailed in these games where the loser will promptly go to ?backs against the wall? status.Sunday will be no different. San Diego has some offensive weapons that could frustrate the Ravens secondary, but Dean Pees is coming off one of his best games of the last two years from a scheme standpoint in Monday?s win at New Orleans. He?ll use the nickel package almost exclusively throughout the game to keep the Chargers from striking for the big play. And the Baltimore offense, as they do at home quite often, will be operating on all cylinders. This one is as close to a guarantee as you can get when a good team comes to town. San Diego?s not coming to Baltimore and winning.Ravens get two TD throws from Flacco and a pick six for Daryl Smith as Baltimore wins 27-16. ~Drew Forrester
The Ravens jump out on the sluggish Chargers, 21-0, in the first quarter. San Diego?s 4th-string center struggles to make calls/adjustments in a VERY loud M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens secondary struggles to cover Keenan Allen, as he goes for 100+ yards and a score. But in the end, this game isn?t in doubt. Ravens 33, Chargers 16. ~ Mike Fast
The Ravens are practically unbeatable at home in November and that won?t change this Sunday. Philip Rivers will provide another challenge to the secondary but, having successfully stared down Drew Brees in the Super Dome, they will play with added confidence before a roaring home crowd. Forsett gets his 1,000th rushing yard, the front seven gets 4 sacks, Joe throws another TD to a reinvigorated Steve Smith, and the Ravens will cover, 31-24. ~ Fran the Fan Vojik
After being nearly 100% accurate with my prediction last week, I might want to quit while I am ahead. The Ravens continue to be successful on the ground as Forsett goes over 90 yards and 1 TD. Flacco and Torrey Smith connect on a deep ball as the Ravens win 28-24. ~ Joe ?JP? Polek
Ravens run all over Chargers as Forsett sets pace again. ~ Ken Zalis
Early on the game will look much like two heavyweight title contenders squaring off, feeling each other out and setting their opponent up for a few surprises later. Unfortunately for the Chargers they lack the jab on the road to gain the Ravens respect and eventually the home team develops fearlessness and wears down the visitors in the trenches on both sides of the football. After the slow start, the Ravens pull away late aided in part by a jarring blindside hit from Haloti Ngata that forces a fumble which is scooped up by Courtney Upshaw for a score. Ravens 31, Chargers 16 ~ Tony Lombardi
It seems like the Ravens have had a lot of must win games this year. Considering the current logjam in the AFC North and the AFC in general this one falls into that category as well. The Chargers will make it a point to not let Justin Forsett beat them, and after back-to-back games as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week, they will hold him to under 100 yards. Last week was the first time both Steve and Torrey Smith had a productive game in the same week, I think that trend continues. Both will get in the end zone and they will combine for 150 yards receiving. Ravens 24 -20 ~ Ryan Jones
The Ravens defense steps up and doesn?t allow a play of more than 25 yards all afternoon. Justin Forsett again eclipses the 100-yard mark and the Ravens win by double-digits. ~ Derek Arnold
I can?t get a feel for this game, other than the fact that I despise Philip Rivers as an athlete. The Chargers are giving up somewhere in the neighborhood of 110 yards per game on the ground? The Ravens are going to shatter that number, that much I?m confident in. By running the ball the Ravens are going to keep the Chargers off the field and get them in a hole, because of this, Phil is going to get all gun-slinger on us and turn the ball over. If you?re going to rock a bolo-tie you better be ready to draw?I don?t know who I am supposed to fear in the Chargers passing game? Keenan Allen? Malcom Floyd? or is it Eddie Royal? Yeah, I don?t think so. Maybe Antonio Gates will put up some points. I?m looking at the roster and don?t see anyone I?m scared of, but they?re winning games somehow. I just don?t see them winning in Baltimore. The Ravens are getting hot, and look like they?re finally starting to settle down on the defensive side.Ravens win 34-24 ~Matt Constantini
Despite Baltimore?s history of suffering letdown losses after big wins, the stifling defense will be too much at home for the Chargers. Phillip Rivers and Co. will struggle to move the ball, finishing with less than 75 rushing yards and just 14 points. Two touchdown passes by Joe Flacco fuel a 23-14 victory for the Ravens. ~Kyle Casey
Every year, it seems like the Chargers really heat up in December. Chargers fans seem to be underestimating the challenge that?s facing them this week, probably because they want to hold a sense of optimism looking at their December schedule (Patriots, Broncos, @49ers, @Chiefs).Well, it?s not gonna happen. This game has blowout potential. There is no way the Chargers have any success on the ground going up against the Ravens run defense, so Dumervil, Suggs, and McPhee will be able to stick their hands in the dirt and get after the QB for 4+ sacks. Ravens win in a laugher 30-13. ~Tyler Lombardi
