Hell I don't know
It was an intentional disregard for rules however i don't know if he was trying to cause an injury or not. I would need to watch tape of the rest of the game before it happened to see if the 2 had been arguing and see if i could conclude that his intent was to cause injury. If it was then suspend him for the season. if it didnt appear he was trying to cause injury I say one game. :SIB

I'm a huge Auburn fan, I watched the game, but I missed the "HIT"--I was hitting the brews pretty hard--I HAVE NOT looked at the film yet, BUT if it was intentional Tommy Tubberville will suspend his ass for whatever is approp. I knew the guy was out, but figured itwas due to a "minor injury"--not an intentional hit. Auburn runs a clean program, I promise 95% of Auburn nfans would NEVER stand for that crap (there are always a few idiots in any group) Anyway, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I'll watch the clip a couple of times to try & see what happened--Good Luck to All

No offense, but Auburn, as usual, showed no class as aprogram last night. The Aub chearleaders entered the the field waving their flags while LSU players were running onto the field. Then, during the LSU Alma Mater, the Auburn band played their fight song. A close friend of mine and Auburn alumnus told me during halftime that he was embarassed by their antics. Classless program, imo.

This from an LSU fan where they swear at children, vandalize property, urinate on cars, plus do all the same things that you just mentioned....:nono:

Total bull$hit, sir. At this point you have lost any credibility with me. LSU band and chearleaders have never pulled that type of nonsense at any road game I have attended. Listen, I would be embarassed too, but there is no need to project.

Have fun at the Weedeater Bowl:mj07:

I had a LSU fan boo my friends 6 month old in an Auburn cheerleading outfit.

Every team has them, so accept it. LSU is no different...:nono: :nono: :nono:

The only thing I'll accept is that you did not read my post, or that you have comprehension issues. Phenom obviously has similar issues.

I did not mention fan behavior. Heck, there were 2 Auburn fans sitting in front of me, and I chatted w/ them throughout the game and shared my bourbon with them.

I spoke exclusively of 2 classless acts on the part of the Auburn band and cheerleaders. First, the Aub Cheerleaders stormed the field waving their flags while the LSU players were running out onto the field. Second, Aub band played the Aub fight song during the LSU Alma Mater. Please respond to either of these claims. I would love to hear you rationalize either of them.

Give it a rest homer, every team has done it at some point or another, band playing at an inappropriate time, team running out at same time as another blah blah blah..... Get some rest and then realize how stupid you sound....My team never does anything wrong, I have been to every road game the team has ever played and I watch the band and chearleaders in a meticulous manner....

Give up the holier than thou attitude, that crap doesn't fly anywhere...

I am not embarrassed at all, your team won the game, congrats, I won't end my post with some petty dig, other then to say good luck the rest of the year....

Have some friends that are Oklahoma Sooner fans and went down to the Sugar Bowl a couple of years ago for the National Championship game. They told stories of seeing LSU fans pissing on OU fans from balconies on Bourbon street. They also told of a group of LSU fans bombarding an 80 year old couple with OU shirts on with beads. They were getting hit so hard they had to run under an awning. Everyone I know that went to that game said they were the most classless fans they have ever seen. I know you weren't pointing out Auburn's fans and I'm not saying that you are one of these fans Grant, but I just thought I would throw this out there. What do you think about that call to throw into the end zone at the end of the game. Les Miles is going to get caught with his pants down one of these games with that cowboy attitude. I love how he acted like it was no big deal to run the play when interviewed after the game. "We had 15 or 16 seconds to go" he said. Wait until he watches the replay and figures out how lucky he was.

Any updates on Dorsey?!!??

doctors didn't think there was any ligament damage, maybe a sprained knee.

it looked intentional to me and official was staring right at play and no flag...but flags aflying with helmet to helmet on steltz.

I will say... could be a make-up call with that GREAT spot LSU got for first down at end of game.

I watched the telecast last night. Wow, talk about a bad spot. Hard to imagine why Tubberville didn't review the play.

I don't know more than you regarding the extent of the injury.

LSU fan apologizes for fans' misconduct
By Caitlin O'Sullivan, Baton Rouge resident
I would like to apologize to UF fans, your football team and staff and Tim Tebow on behalf of the city of Baton Rouge. The classless things done (the cell phone incident) and said (I'm sure there are too many to say) are not a representation of Louisiana State University or its fans.

These things were not done with integrity or candor and I would like to apologize. This hopefully will not skew people's representation of LSU (in a non-sportsmanlike way) or the SEC in general. I am sure this was done in jest, but I apologize that it reached the next level. I speak for many (but unfortunately not all) LSU fans when I say that was one of the best football games I have ever seen. We appreciate a great game, especially when the other team has great players. Everyone I knew rooted for Florida to win the national title last year and I am rooting for Tebow to win the Heisman. Most of us here are good sports, and I hope that UF will accept this apology.
