I do have a 3 minute clip of one guy (and his friend filming) hunting a bear............

this one ends the way I like..............the bear charges.....the guy shoots three times.........misses all of em..........then you see the bear slash the guy...........camera falls to the ground........and you see the bear eating the guy..........also hear his hunter buddy screaming and yelling as he runs away..........only thing that sucked about the vid is that you see the bear eating the guy sideways (because the friend dropped the camera).......


now that vid is what I call my kind of hunting video........still laugh every time I see it...........sooooooooo funny!!!






but sadly I can't put the vid on here..........way to graphic.......I mean when the bear slashes at the guy, his head almost comes right off.

Killing a squirrel, phaesant, etc., while I don't see the use of it (besides the aforementioned needing to feed your family, which for the most part doesn't really fly in this day and age) is one thing, but to kill an animal like lion, tiger, etc., is really ****ing demented. These are majestic, beautiful creatures that deserve to be treated with respect and admiration. Most of the big cats are endanagered or close to being endangered and it's sickening to think tigers might be extinct in the next 50 years or so.

Anyone that gets their kicks off shit like that or actually does it is close to the lowest form of scum imaginable. Betcha these spineless fuks have the biggest pickup or truck on the market as well to make-up for their deficiency in a certain area.

As a hunter, is this what you would call hunting, 5 clowns with high powered rifles stalking 1 Lion. Taking....I'm not sure lost count but 7-9 shots, some of those shots spinning around & firing right in the direction of their companions. These ass wipes are lucky they didn't kill each other along with the Lion they eventually put to death.

However, I wouldn't characterize it as a "Lion charge" as you have. The animal was chosen & stalked by a group of cowards with high powered rifles, who were lucky themselves nobody killed, not because anything was dangerous, but because in their blood thirsty glee to kill a animal that is in fact protected most places, but because of their gross amateurism.

Just to bad Lions don't have ivory, just imagine the joy hack sawing off some treasure to maximize the joyous afternoon:shrug:

Well, I've hunted for wild fowl, turkey, quail, dove, deer, and even squirell before back home in Missouri and have no problem with hunting as long as you consume what you kill. I guess you have to be brought up hunting as a small child to understand it. I don't think I would ever be able to do such a thing with that kind of game. Big game hunting like that is alittle out of my league and definitely in a different group of hunters. I say put the guy in a loin cloth, put his azzz in a circled off area with the lion, and give him an egg beater and let's see who comes out victorious...

Agree with you 100%. I grew up hunting also and consumed eveything. Those guys were just killing for the sake of killing and that to me is totally fuked. :nono:

Thanks for the wishes Chops. Think I know which site you are talking about that Strouse still posts at. I don't go there anymore as it seemed there was too much hostility. (I was only a lurker at that time). If I remember there were those who even attacked you unjustifiably. Always enjoyed your posts.

Strouse was one standup guy also. Always full of good info and skills. Sorry to see him leave Andy's also - I guess he felt the way you did. Wish Strouse would post here though.

I posted it because I've never seen anything like it. I have no desire to shoot a lion, a tiger, a rhino, and elephant, etc., but if these guys are legal, and there's a season for it, I can't say that they shouldn't be doing it. I really didn't think it would spark this much interest, but I'm glad to be informed on all these views as hunting as a whole is so much a part of my background and something I really enjoy. If I ever did go to Africa on safari, it would be bow and arrow only.

Cant believe I am saying this but I agree with hoops post.....also I think there is a difference between "hunting" and "killing' a animal....most real hunters know this.........anyone who hunts then cleans and eats his prey understands the way the wild works and I doubt would really be interested in that slaughter of that beautiful lion......thats my humble opinion and I am not a hunter but have two brothers who are and are respectful to nature........

What I do find comical is that most anti-hunters are pro abortion. That's always baffled me.

I probably know what you mean by this statement, but I'll post anyways. Someone who argues against hunting using the argument of pro-life for the animal, who is then also pro-abortion, is hypocritical. I don't think that in every case it should be so amusing to you.

I am pro-abortion, and it's not that I strongly oppose hunting, I just don't agree with it. Is this hypocritical? I'm not sure how you can justify that except for the argument I stated above. However, not everyone opposes hunting because of the life of the animal. For me, it really shouldn't be considered hunting unless the hunter has an equal chance of being the hunted. If those guys rolled around in fresh blood, went out in 4 ft tall brush in the presence of the lion, then THAT'S hunting. What they did, and what all "hunters" do to me, isn't called hunting...they should be called stalkers. After all, that's what the do.

And the best thing to me are the duck callers and other means to draw an animal near. I mean, how fair is that? It's like having a naked chick with DD tits sitting in your bed, calling you from the family room, saying "I'm naked come screw me", and as you walk in she shoots you in the head!

As far as abortion, that's a whole other issue

I can respect the skill that it does take for some hunters, so as far as that is concerned I do see how it can be appealing and take a high amount of ability in the right circumstances.
