Playing in a ryder Cup format against 12 other clubs on Oct 7 at Traditions Club in Hebron, KY. We played at Waldens Pond to qualify, which I thought was a nice course but had some pretty bad summer burn out. Do any of you Cincy guys know much about this Traditions course? It is rated the third best course in KY:shrug:

Thanks Alan, doubt I will have time since I am driving up early that morning from Nashville to play, then staying over at my friends place in Mason, just north of town, then I have to make calls early on Monday in northern KY. In Louisville now for a convention and it was hard not drive over the bridge to Caesars last night. Hopefully will have some extra time when I come back, look forward to seeing you again and need some poker lessons!:00hour

Also, thanks Ed for your lengthy review on the course:mj07: Have you played it:shrug: Is it good shape:shrug: I know you are a single digit handicap and probably tear up this course:scared

Also, thanks Ed for your lengthy review on the course

he's only going by what he's heard from the clubhouse bar and from what he's seen from the bar :SIB

Thank you DC and Jack. Both of your attempts at humor are noted and immediately forgotten. Anyway to return to my normal helpful self, I haven't played there this year so I can't vouch for the shape its in but as a semi-private club its probably okay. The course meanders through the rolling hills of the Ohio valley on the southern bank of the great Ohio.... okay enough of that crap.

I'm not sure what its like from the red tees but from the tips its over 7000. Pretty fair course. sand, water, kinda linksy but not wide open. uses the natural terrain. best way to describe it.

Might see you in Mason DC as my in laws live there and I spend quite a bit of time up there. If you go to a bar ask them if they know Eddie. Most of the bars with the rainbow flag out front know who I am.

Recommended bars in Mason on Mason-Montgomery Road (Gladdagh)

In old Mason on Rt. 42.(One)

For dinner get the ribs at Montgomery Inn in Montgomery about 10 minutes from Mason in Montgomery.

Dawg:

Yeah, Montgomery Inn is in Montgomery which is about 10 minutes from Mason. They also have a place on the river close to downtown.

Agent:

Thank you for posting that picture. Please note the color of the tee. Unless my monitor is on the fritz, that don't seem to be the tips.

Fat:

Despite popular opinion, I am quite a nice guy. I even like the forum's resident psychopaths: Wayne, Dr. Freeze, Gardenweasel, Jack, 65, Raymond, AR, Kosar, Buddy, Penguinfan, Vinnie, Stangelove, Tao, BJ, Dunclock, Agent, Sponge, etc. Even the dangerous ones like Ctownguy and Intense Operator.

I view the world as a lovely place full of rear enders, slip and falls and medical errors. If I can put the little guy out of business, great, he doesn't belong there if he can't take the heat. My goal in life is to take down a fourth generation family owned business with a frivolous law suit and put at least 100 workers out on the street without jobs.

Then I will sleep at night. Well, I will go on looking for that dream lawsuit. Remember ATLA (American Trial Lawyers), NAMBLA (North American Men Boy Love Assodiation, I think), AAA (American Aethiests Association) and ACLU (American Civil Liberties Association) forever, Americans for Family Values, never.

But see Ed, your dear friend Agent forgot to post that is the form that paid him $30 on Friday and destroyed his team on Saturday during the tournament:scared And also the form that was blowing it by him 40 yards off the tee:mj07: Jim Furyk used to take lessons from me and he has done pretty well with the swing:mj07:

My friends live just past Kings Island up 71 off exit 28, go past the TPC about five minutes into a subdivision out that way. Will look into the Inn and always gotta have me some Chili. One of these times got to get your hacking ass out there and see what tees you want to play from:shrug: :mj07:

Thanks for the info and will let you how we do!

Blowing it by him by 40 yards further into the woods is nothing to brag about DC.

Yeah, I can tell you like the chili from the photograph. May I suggest the house salad with the low fat Italian dressing.

I am sure we are going to "see" you at an event sometime Ed:scared

You go to a fellas town for a week that you have battled with for six years and tell him after the fact:shrug:

Oh well, I might have to show up at your firm with my digital camera and catch the old counselor at work:mj07:

Take care,

Your old pal

Played the tournament this weekend at Traditions, it is a beautiful course! It was set up for a mens only club, golf only, as there are no pools or tennis courts, smallish clubhouse, all individual memberships with no family perks, but awesome golf course. They have ONE ladies member and the ladies/senior tees are over 6400 yards with a course rating of 77.8 and slope of 144:scared

We get out there and it is a team event of 7 clubs with 14 players on each team. There are formats for net, gross, and two man best ball, which me and my partner play. Everyone gets matching shirts and hats for the respective teams. It is a record high of 93 for the day and our team colors are BLACK:scared

I hit my tee ball like a tour player but make two doubles and two bogeys with wedge or sand wedge to shoot 78:shrug:

My partner quits on 15 from heat dehydration and was close to heat stroke as he was sweating profusely but shivering with the chills:scared

Great golf course and highly recommend if you are ever in the Cincy area. Thanks Ed for your write ups and look forward to hooking up with you the next time I up there. Had a great lunch with my buddy HandiCapper and his lovely wife, hope to meet some of you other guys in the future!
