youre entitled to your opinion; however, i have forever prided myself on my objectivity. i call it like it is, both for a team around here as well as against a team around here.
trust me, i have been watching cavs basketball for quite some time now.
the cavs do not have BASKETBALL PLAYERS. they have athletes.
the funny thing is, you being from california should be able to recognize that because darius miles is everything thats WRONG about the cavaliers.
there is an ENORMOUS difference between athletes and basketball players.
darius miles has more athletic gifts than 98% of the players in the nba today. and yet he will never be more than a decent 6th man because he has no clue how to play basketball.
if you doubt the impact of lebron, it is apparent in the passing of ilgauskas and ricky davis.
the last few years, when davis got the ball, it was goin up. same with ilgauskas. they both were out for themselves and it killed the cavs.
you contradicted yourself in back to back sentences. you say im a homer, yet im the one who said the cavs have little basketball talent. makes no sense.
i have watched bad cavaliers basketball for some time now. i long for the days of price, ehlo, daugherty, and nance.
if you doubt the impact of james, watch the cavs offense run when hes not on the floor. they CANT SCORE.
the kid is 18 years old and hes running a team. that tells you all you need to know about the cavaliers. they cant operate unless led by an 18-yr old kid.
totally different than carmelo.
sorry, thats just the way it is.
i was a lebron doubter all through his akron st.vincent high school days. wasnt sure if he was worth the hype.
bottom line is carmelo is gonna be an all-star every year of his career. lebron a potential superstar.
didnt mean to imply anything negative about anthony. but james/anthony comparisons are non-issues
if cavs could totally revamp their roster, the only players id want from this team are james, boozer, kapono, and dajaun wagner.
