coffee maker

I got 6 pounds of coffee for christmas from my in laws and I dont even have a coffee maker :142smilie
coffee is supposedly imported from costa rica

whats the best kind? is it worth spending more money on a coffee pot or are they all about the same?

If you don't drink coffee, I don't know that you should buy any coffee maker. You could always take some of the coffee grounds to work to try it there.....assuming you have a maker at work.

We had that exact same Cuisinart coffee maker and hated it. Have seen several people have it break on them.

If you're not a coffee drinker, you may go cheap with a French Press or something.

We have this one now.

Really? I'm surprised. I've been using mine since 2004 or 2005 and I drink coffee every day. My sister-in-law has the same one and hasn't had any issues. Weird.

Don't get this. Luke warm coffee...what's the point? I've tried heating the carafe pre-coffee...everything, still makes semi-warm coffee. I like it piping hot. I had a cheap one from walmart in college that did a better job than this overpriced piece of shit. I've been angry at this maker for years. I feel better now. :mj07: :toast:

I drink coffee at work, I have a cheap coffee maker there for specialty coffee when I take it. thanks guys

This is what my dad has, and I noticed when we were there that the coffee was not hot. Just thought I was late to the party.

Mr Coffee Jr for me--makes only 4 cups at a tmem but plenty for me--had it forever.

same on here, works like a charm and a very high end breville for capps, lattes and expresso.
