Regular Season Record: 52-45 for +9.5 units

Starting out with:

Arky -170 (vs. MS St.) for 1 unit - Razorbacks starting one of their best pitchers in Ryan Stanek. Stanek was pulled in the 1st inning last weekend after taking a hard liner as a precautrionary measure. MS State is going with Brian Woodruff who has decent stats this year in a mix of relief appearances and mid-week starts. However his 1 start against good competition (Ole Miss) as well as his relief appearances against other conference foes he didn't fare well.

I hope State's bats come alive for ya!!!! A win today is HUGE for MSU's RPI... MSU wants a regional bad and IMO they deserve one... There's nothing like a regional at Dudy Noble :0074

0-2 yesterday. For Wednesday:

Georgia -135 (vs. Auburn) for 1 unit ? Elimination game and I think Auburn?s pitching falls off heavily after their #1 starter.

Vandy +150 (vs. S. Carolina) for 1.5 units ? Vandy is going with TJ Pecoraro who is coming off of 2 great outings. Gamecocks going with Frosh Jordan Montgomery who has been hit hard his last few outings. Also the Gamecock bats haven?t been as lively in their last two series.

Kansas +320 (vs. A&M) for ? unit ? Jayhawks are pitiful offensively but they are throwing their ace Frank Duncan who is decent. A&M is just going with Frosh Daniel Mengden who has been mostly a reliever with a few spot starts.

Miami +150 (vs. NC St.) for 2 units ? if NC State isn?t pitching their stud freshman Carlos Rodon (which they aren?t today) I think they are more average than good. Wolfpack is pitching Ethan Ogburn who has been decent overall this year but not as of late. Canes going with their veteran ace Eric Erickson who has pitched real well, even if against average competition, in his last few outings.

Texas -195 (vs. Mizzou) for 2 units ? both teams are bad offensively but Texas has a big pitching edge.

awful day yesterday going 1-4 only getting Vandy. Miami blowing it in the bottom of the 9th was a big disappointment.

Updated Record: 53-51 for +1.25 units

Starting off today with:

LSU -115 (vs. Ole Miss) for 1 unit - big pitching edge with Gausmann going for the Tigers.

adding:

Wake +450 (vs. NC St.) for 1/4 unit - jbly tells me Roden isn't going for the Wolfpack so may as well take a swing at the super big dog.

For Wake...
Sophomore Jack Fischer will get the start tonight and will look to continue a string of solid starts. Since being inserted into the starting rotation on April 28 at Boston College, Fischer has made three starts and posted a 2.18 ERA in 20.2 innings. He has earned the win in his last two starts by pitching 7.0 innings at Miami and helping Wake Forest clinch a spot in the ACC Baseball Championship with 7.2 innings of scoreless baseball against Clemson.

Anthony Tzamtzis starting for State..his numbers are good except for the fact he has 34 walks and 9 hbp in only 54 innings...Needless to say he has problems with control!
