I've posted my good, ole, trusty Spreadsheet's plays in the past and it's making it's 2013 debut this week so I think I'll share it's plays again this season. It's as good as all the data I gotta feed it and that is why I gotta wait till week 4 or 5 to start using it. It usually gets better and better cause it ADDS data to what it already "knows' as the weeks go by. It is one hell of a complex monster cause it ADJUSTS, based on each teams previous games, the stats most bettors use from the matchups for the current week's stats in the matchups thingy. I'll write more about it if somebody is interested, but the PLICKS is what matters, right? :)

IF anybody's curious about how it did in the past, you'll have to go into the archives cause I don't think I posted it's picks last season and maybe even the season before. Sorry, but I ain't consistent with these things.

Ok, here's what it gave me for this week....

Virg. Tech - whatever it was : Sorry, I know this one is a done deal, but it was a highly rated pick and the first one that it spit out. Could kick myself for not going with the M.L. FLUCK! The "SS" (SpreadSheet) is really good at picking dogs that win outright even though I do give it the spread no. and it does pick with the spread "in mind". . Didn't go for it (M.L.) cause it's just a little too early to start that stuff. :(

S. Carolina-7: I usually shave a half or more from this no. but it's a strong selection and I'm gonna take my chances with the "-7".

Iowa -2: Always think this no. is a trap :scared . Sometimes I just don't play the "SS's" picks and just stay away from the match. There is one reason that I'll go along with the "plick" though - IMO, Minny has been eating up too many cream puffs ;) Also think that Iowa can play away without a problem and still has some players that were a part of that ASS KICKIN defense they've had in previous years.

Army pk: Be careful with teams like these two (other one is L.A. Tech). Just a different level/brand of footsbawl.

Ohio St. -7: I'll pass; just too competitive for me.

Ariz. St. -4: Like this play and LUV the no. (4 is a "lucky" line) Keep tract of that no. and see what you think.

Conn pk': Only comment I can make is that this is one HARD LUCK team. Just terrible what them players go through. I gotta trust the "SS" on this play.

That's it's top selections, Good Luck.

Thanks, OAKAS. Yeah, I like that one a lot, USC doesn't impress me at all and I was happy to see that get picked by the Sheet. Other one I like a lot is S. Carolina which LOOKS too easy and that may not be a good thing.

Good luck with your plays and thanks for stopping in.

Ain't college football fun? You know, like S.C. DID look "too good" until they got to 4 mins. to go in that game. Yeah, poopoo happens with this stuff. :mj16:

Adding a "sucker' (?) bet -> Ohio St. scores UNDER 31. Just got it at -110 @ Dimes place.

Also, Doubled up with Ariz. State.

SPREADSHEET PICKS - 4-2-1

I started posting to just share the SS picks mostly cause it usually beats my personal picks so I'll only post it's picks record even though I sometimes add my own ones in the threads.

Notes
- Ass burner of the week - goes to SO. CAROLINA. They had that game covered before poopoo happened very late in that game. Dang SHEET woulda went 3 for 3 on it's 3 top picks (VT, S.Car, Ariz St) if that didn't happen.

Worst pick - UConn. Put them on the "AVOID" list. They look like they can play footsball vs. the bestest teams, and look like themselves (crapola) vs. the mediocre teams. Forget them; they ain't a bettor's friend and they're much too erratic. The spreadsheet can't figure those kind of things out.

Most Impressive - Well, ya know - Army may not be a popular team but they sure ain't what they used to be. Scored in every quarter and easily covered AWAY vs. a decent LA Tech team. I'm sure most bettors avoid them like the plague due to their history or just fade them and that might be a good thing for those who pay attention to how they're really playing these days.

I'll post the SHEET'S picks next week and hope for a little interest in it. It should get better and better as the season progresses. I use it every year and know it's trends which are kind of wierd - it usually has one TERRIBLE week that can pop up at any time and it also has one or two SUPER weeks that it just makes ya/ME wanna kick yourself in the ass for not unloading on it's picks.

Think about taking a shot at the Money Line when it picks an underdog cause, somehow, it usually ends the season with a nice profit on those plays if you play them right.

Good Luck NFLing.

Scout's Honor SIXFive - when I posted last week I was thinking that YOU'd be interested and at least there would be at least one MJer that would pay me a visit. And .. . . .I WAS RIGHT (lol), OAKAS stopped in. :)

It's gonna take a few more interested folks to keep me posting here (stop in the hoss wacin forum sometime; usually good for a few $$$$) cause I spent mucho hours (DAYS) analyzing horses (only play ONE track, too) and NOW footballers (got a SHEET FOR THE NFLers but no time to run it) and that keeps me busy as all hell. It ain't easy to get it all done.

I AM gonna post this upcoming week. Do give a good look into the UNDERDOG picks (plus pts) it picks, SixFive cause it's percentage of covers for them is almost always higher for the whole season than it's favorites picks. I'll also include a comment about it's STRONG picks cause thems do well also.

Thanks for the reply and good luck, y'awl.
