And rolltide, I was also not being a dick, as I know ur a nice guy.

I think the sec is best confrence collectivley in the country, and plays great football

I don't this for sure, nor do I know if the best 2 teams in the country come from there

I think many other programs provide exciting tv, even more so then the SEC...

Very easily can those all co-exist..

Hope tha explains my viewpoint better....

Ya ill say it, tired of the SEC dominance....if two others teams go unbeaten, they should be ahead of any oneloss team....if the sec has an unbeaten, of course they should be in...

In no way am I saying the sec doesn't deserve it or warrramt the consideration of being the best team in the country...just saying let's go notredame and oregon and kstate

If bama and msu each lose once, in a tough SEC game, they would still most likely be the "best" 2 teams in the country, but not deserving of the title game....

So when I said I think the best 2 teams most likely come from the sec, I really believe that, but doesn't mean they need to be or I want them to be in the champ game....

ROLLTIDE your team is hands down best program in country considering recent years and all time, but man let someone else have their fun just one time hahaha.....you guys will be fine

It would be a travesty if a one loss sec champion was not in the nc game.

the travesty would be a repeat of that LSU/ALA yawner[surprise they were more boring the first game]matchup while 2 teams who can score don't get a chance at the title.

but thank the stars above that crap will not happen after this BCS commision is finally shit canned.

we get an undefeated ORE and KAN. ST. we can get the matchup the whole country would want to see.

I personally would have taken Ok. St. Had a great season with 6th toughest schedule. Just my opinion though...8 or 16 team playoff would end all arguments any of us had with any teams or what conf their in. Anyway good luck with your picks this weekend. :toast:

I'm definitely ready for a playoff system. Hopefully, it will end all arguments about who the number 1 team is each year. :toast:

I don't ever want to see more than a 4 team playoff personally. I think it's important to college football to keep the regular season pretty meaningful. I've always thought the top 4 teams of the BCS should play it off. I think the BCS rankings actually get it right.

I think they are accurate to pick the the best 25 teams are....

But in what exact order there is no way to be sure....

Ask auburn when they went unbeaten with ronnie brown and cadalac williams....and I think jason campbell was qb.....they didn't lose all year and missed out.....

That is the reason this system cannot continue....3 no loss teams is not a very common occasion, but we cannot allow a good team miss out on a oppurtunity that some teams have chased for 50 years, all because a bunch of computers say 2 other teams are better....

Jmo but 4 team playoff is crucial....

Noway will there be 5 unbeaten programs at anypoint....possiible? Yes. Likely? Almost never....

4 teams is plenty....let em play it out...

That's why I'm saying the ranking system works but not the champion determination. 4-teams...no more, no less. Top 4 of BCS play it off. I think if we don't go top 4 of BCS then Delany will get his way with the conference champion playoff....which would SUCK!! It would be worse than the BCS.

I feel bad I don't want rolltide or other sec guys thinkin I am one of the haters...

I like what the sec does and damn do I respect em...

But comeon, one year with notredame vs oregon wouldn't hurt anyone....

Being realistic, if we have a non sec final, it will be because of kstate and oregon.....

Except last year where the regular season didn't mean a thing?

I know you're not a hater and I understand that those who either don't root for the SEC or live outside of the southeast are tired of the SEC domination.

For the record ND vs anyone would hurt me, especially if it's for the national championship. :SIB

Listen, I hate Bama, but at the end of the year, it will still seem like they haven't played anyone. They are that good.

Better than last year
Better than 3 years ago

I would love to see Bama play Oregon. I think Oregon has improved somewhat defensively, but they have to win out. I still think Bama would win that game by 10+.

Notre Dame vs Bama:mj07:
Kansas St vs Bama:mj07:

If bama is better than last season, then saban deserves coach of the year. Only 8 starters from the bcs title game will start for bama on Saturday.

That is what I see Cie. I thought they were somewhat flawed offensively last year, but I think that extra year from McCarron has made that much difference.

I will interested to get your take after the game. I hope LSU can hang, but I just cannot see it. The Hatter is going to have to pull out the bag of tricks in this one.

I think LSU could be in the same situation if they would get a damn QB. I am still amazed that it seems like they have 10 DT's every year, but they can't get a damn offense.

I know it has to frustrate the hell out of you.

This is the land where 4* qbs come to flounder. It's either the humidity or it's miles and his 3 yards and a cloud of dust mentality. 2 more 4* qbs coming this season, but I no longer expect quality qb play. Lsu is 33-3 last 33 games, with losses to #2 bama ona neutral firld, at #2 Florida and at #5 arky. In that stretch lsu is 2-1 vs the wrecking ball that is bama. The qb play can most certainly be frustrating. Sometimes I don't know whether to wallow about the lack quality qb play, or marvel at the success despite poor qb play. I usually go with the former, though:toast:

the regular season did mean something. if all the other undefeated teams didn't choke and lose one they could have played LSU for the title.

OkieState nobody to blame but themselves.

Oregon woulda been a rematch too but still blew it vs usc

I could give a crap what conference and who it is in the NC game. I just want the best two. Per Vegas this year the best two are Bama and Oregon.

Bama would be -4 vs. Oregon
Bama would be -14 vs. KState and ND

That's what the guy(can't remember his name) said that comes on Collins show. I believe he helps make the lines so he's at least close.
