Didnt say they should have. Nobody wanted to see that shit NC game that was a result of them losing.
The game sucked ass. So if Florida had beaten Georgia last weekend are they the number 2 team in the country. Hell no. SEC slant. Espn hype. Oregon would smoke them and KSU would beat them.

Sooooo, from what I've read most of the "SEC haters" don't want the NC game to include the TWO BEST TEAMS in the country. Rather, they want to see two high powered offenses go at it, and whoever scores last wins. :shrug: Wanna talk about a slap in the face to college football!! I agree, last years NC game was boring at times, but that's what you get when you have two primarily defensive teams. But to sit there and say they weren't the best two teams in the country is completely ludicrous. OK State... also a one loss team, but loss to a terrible team.:mj07: Oregon... had already been beaten by LSU at a neutral site and then got beat by USC:mj07: Bama would've killed any other team in the country last year for the NC game. They not only beat a very good LSU team, they beat them EASILY!
Being an Auburn fan and living here my whole life, trust me I didn't wanna have to live in the shadows of yet another Bama NC. But they were the best team in the country BY FAR! Let me remind the haters, they lost the first LSU game by FOUR missed field goals. Is that part of the game?? Yes, most definitely. But so is beating a weak ISU team regardless of the scenario or timing.
Like somebody has already said, if the other conferences want something to change, they should beat us in the big game. In the 14 BCS NC games thus far, the SEC has won 8 of them against opponents from the ACC, Big 12, Big 10, and PAC-10, and only one of those games was an SEC-SEC matchup. Even more so, we've won 6 in a row. Sad thing is, it won't get much better for the other conferences. I expect (sadly) for Bama to be a contender until Saban leaves. I've just learned to embrace it, and y'all should too. Unless, of course, we can sweet talk Chizik into staying one more year. Then we'll be the front-runner!!:mj07:

Really?? if their is am 8 or 16 tam playoff sure they deserve to be in that BUT to take ONLY two teams and one who does NOT win the conference is an embarrassment to college football and insults our intelligence on what is right....You are wrong my friend.
