Anyone needing a colonoscopy may be in luck with the advent of virtual colonoscopies. Companies are getting , if not already, approval for this procedure which tested apparantly is very accurate with results. I hate the procedure but I had a bout of diverticulitis leading to a sigmoidectomy (luckily no colostomy requiered) and now I try to watch my diet and pray I never go through anything like it again. Long story short...please get the tests that are appropriate to your age; the results of skipping them could be much worse than the procedure.

had some blood for a day or two and stomach unsettled for a while, better safe than sorry. I'm thinking IBS or who knows Crohns.

Maybe it's just me but it really hasn't been that bad. Now the shit I have to drink is like drinking castor oil but otherwise I have to make a bathroom run once every 20-30 minutes. I hope this stuff is working but it must be i'm shitting water now.

So I show up this morning and they don't have me down as having an appointment :sadwave: Thankfully I had the appointment slip from their office to provie it to them. There is no way I'm doing that prep again if I don't have to. Anyways, as others said the colonoscopy/endoscopy were a breeze, go to sleep then wake up and it's done. Pretty much a clear bill of help, just some internal hemorrhoids. :0008
