1 hour in on hold and they transferred me for a second time...they transferred me to "home security" instead of cancellation....utter b.s...

they want me to dial the number again...i said no,transfer me to the right dept....

i knew this would happen.....

i`ve been on hold for roughly half an hour and only transferred once....

not horrible...hopefully i`ll be lucky and get this reconciled before too long....:lol:

the message said that i need to verify ssn/acct# or the cmac number on the back of my modem before an agent comes on....

then the agent comes on and says she`s in home security.....says she`ll transfer and the line goes dead.....

i have to start all over again....luckily i asked for a direct line to cancellation...i hope they gave me the right number...i`m skeptical........

I get Dish Network with all movie channels and the NHL center ice, and have Charter internet service. I pay $119 and $29.99 respectively. I stream the Bears game, if I don't go to the wing joint, for free.

after two hours,i spoke with someone....he said he couldn`t cancel my service...that they`ll have someone call me back within 24 hours...i explained that was unacceptable...i`ve been on hold for two hours and am taking my equipment back tomorrow...

he said they couldn`t cancel and i asked to speak to his supervisor....he came back and said she couldn`t come to the phone....

i`ve been a customer for over twenty years...never so much as a late payment or problem...and they are literally treating me like shit...

amazing...

Hard to believe I spoke with a rep for the same company. My experience was rather pleasant.

I don't NEED a land line and I was thinking about, and still am, getting back with DirecTV.

Just ended my landline service with AT&T as I upgraded my home security to wireless. Also dumped the AT&T DSL as it was crap. Went with Comcast internet. Will never go back to Comcast tv though. Direct tv is the bomb. Love it.
Just bought a new Samsung 3D for the bedroom. Awesome viewing.

No dude, it ain't free, read the small print. If you don't renew it for two more years you will be charged full price. When you are paying $275 a month don't say nobody warned you.
