Liking the combination of ingredients includes the carb component (bread, rice, potatoes). It's not just a delivery mechanism. They have different flavors and consistency. If you think I'm being elitist whatever... we clearly aren't going to agree on this topic.
I had considered this debate dead until The Boys called me out with this stupid thread.

OK point blank you can make pizza with just about any type of dough even the weakest way with white sliced bread with shredded cheese on top and pizza suace or whatever red sauce you desire spread on it baked in oven for 5 minutes
as far as lox n bagels ewwwwwwwwwwwww
i no like fish of any kind!
Philly cream cheese is tops often imitated never duplicated by others sorry but kraft phila. cream cheese in foil or in tubs thats whipped is best!
Now for the bread in Philly most popular is amorosas rools huge delivery route
then other local bakeries like NEW YORK bakery about 7 blocks from me great if you need sandwhich rools for party or even pizza dough shells for only $4
Rolls are best perfect outside brown soft white inside just about every bakery in philly makes great sandwhich rolls which of course is now out of family diet here !
Well once in a while i can grab steak sandwhich or hoagie but wife n son new health diets NO WHEAT at all ! Gluten free food
and it cost way more than reg food 1 lb of gluten free pasta $4.89 thats more than doulble any pasta product all other gluten free snacks cereals and foods same thing!
So anyway i know pizza i been delivering it working in pizzarias and deli's off and on since the 70's
Also you want soft pretzels only city in east coast to get them is here.
Water ice too ours is best because of water here other cities as in NJ water is way differnt even taste differnt!
