Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
ML -195 off-shore

ML -195 off-shore

-210 to -220 in Vegas...

Atl gonna have hands full with mobile QB and a better Defense, winning the play-off game may have been their superbowl.

Seattle came back and nearly won the game...good teams don't give it up.

I'm on SF large. There is nothing they could have done with this line. Everybody loves SF crap doesn't bother me at all. Of course they do given how good they looked. And they should. Kaep is legit and so is this team. Atlanta is solid, but far from spectacular. If SF comes to play they should win handily. The fact that everyone is impressed does NOT make Atlanta a play out of default. Again, they couldn't have made this line any higher.

SF 34 Atlanta 17

I will be on the Pats too. I haven't played it yet. If it goes back to 9, I may grab it. Otherwise, I'm hoping it keeps dropping.

For the record, I hate the pats and like the Ravens. Money aside, I would love to Balty win. But, I don't see it. To me, New England is in a different league than Denver.I was not at all impressed with Denver all year. They beat up on Patsies. I NEVER trust Peyton Manning in the playoffs in cold weather... especially when he is 35 years old. And that game had opportunities to get away from Baltimore.

Although Jack thinks these guys are superhuman, playing a double overtime thriller, and then travelling west to east, is a factor. I think the D will be a bit tired and Brady might run them off the field. Can Baltimore keep up? I'm betting not.

I do believe this line is high for a reason. I do believe that +330 ML is wayy too juicy. I do believe Baltimore CAN win, but they will need too much to go right. Brady is light years above Peyton Manning and Belichick is eons ahead of John Fox. New England will step on their throats and all the joes out there who want to call that big upset again... their hopes dashed; their dreams down the toilet. And their fate is sitting right beside them. Pay that man his money!

Pats - whatever BIG

I respect your opinion, I just hope you're wrong.

My play has a lot of 'homer' in it, obviously, but the more I read, the more confident I get.

I don't buy the odd 9 line, the Vegas don't lose line, the public is on the Ravens line, I'm just looking at what I am seeing. I've watched damn near every snap of every game for the last upteen years and I am seeing the Ravens peak at just the right time again.

Good luck :toast:

I appreciate it.

FWIW, I see the same things you do. I don't think the Pats are as good as advertised. I think Balty has a little something special going on, and always plays NE well. I do think last weeks emotions will have a bit of a toll on the Ravens this week. I am playing this as a line/consensus play and, to me, the more likely scenario is a NE win (by 6,7,10,14,21??)

If I wasn't betting, I would LOVE to see the Ravens win

I think you have the niners pegged. No one seems to remember they were in the title game last year...no Kapernick wasn't, but most of the team was and that is huge experience going into this game. Everyone also seems to forget Seattle had two cross country trips back to back and still had enough in the tank to whip ATL in the 2nd half.

A lot of good points brought up about Atlanta but the niners have too much speed, line play and overall physicality not to win this game convincingly. Looking at their schedule, everytime they needed to win a game on the road they played well (other than Seattle and I think there is an argument Seattle wanted that one more than SF). Don't think that will be the case with ATL today.

good luck to us :toast:

Jord, you're a good capper, but it seems like you take at least 80% favorites (Has been a winning formula these playoffs with chalk going 6-2 ATS). I find it more interesting when you actually play an underdog since they're so rare!

Not close to true. Maybe Hippo has my numbers posted. I'd venture to say I had more dogs than faves in nfl this year. I will give you 3 to 1 odds on 80%
