The confederate flag was pretty much forgotten until it was used by good ole Strom Thurmond's party which stood for the segregation of races.

lot of time in Missouri City, I would

MY ORIGINAL STATEMENT WAS THE SOUTH WAS NOT TRYING TO OVERTHROW THE NORTHERN STATES AND "MAKE" THE NORTH HAVE SLAVES (OR MORE STATE RIGHTS, IF THAT'S ONE'S OPINION). THEY WANTED A SEPARATE COUNTRY WITH A CAPITAL AND A PRESIDENT. RICHMOND, VA AND JEFFERSON DAVIS, I BELIEVE.
