Are you f-cking kidding me with running the ball on that last play....they just cost themselves a TD cause their coach is a idiot. That was a play I expect to see called in the Sun Belt, ...I guess this isn't much better.

Actually I didn't think it was a bad call, you can't pin a guy down for 12 seconds after the play is over. That was insipid refereeing.
are you phucking kidding me?????? A run with 25 seconds and no time outs????? This is what blowing a timeout on an extra point attempt got ya......after S. Miss scored with a minute or so left, Houston called a TO right before S. Miss attempted the x-tra point because they didn't have enough guys on the field......so phucking what....a TO is much more important at that point than getting 11 guys on the field.....the penalty would've been declined and Houston would've still had 2 TO's.....but nitwit coach decides to burn one so 11 instead of 10 guys could watch the x-tra point be made from the field of play and then he caps it off with a run on 3rd and goal from the 2 with no TO's and only 25 seconds left.....no chance of me cashing this Houston ticket.......phucking tail is wagging the dog here!!! :sadwave:
he was probably thinking that when his rb got tackled with 19 secs left that he would have plenty of time to run another play or kick the fg since the refs wouldnt have to move very far to spot the ball.
what a joke that pile was and an even bigger joke that 6 so miss guys were allowed to lay on top of the rb for 18 secs while no ref stopped the clock to get the ball, unpile and spot the ball.
did i mention the fact that the 3rd and 10 inc pass on so miss drive when they called holding defense, auto first down was a joke......the call was on the defender covering the te whom the ball was thrown to.....too bad he wasnt even touched.
I agree, they definitely pinned the guy down, but like the announcers said, you can't take a chance on zebras giving you anything in that situation.....these zebras have been really bad all half....that phucking holding call was a total bailout effort on their part
How did smiss win games this year? i never seen a worse tackling team since i have been watching football. there defense it looks like is always 5 to 10 yards away from every receiver. Its brutal to watch and to throw in a black quarterback who wont run and will dump a ball just so he wont get tackled even on forth down is comical. lol another completion with three miss tackles. You have to love this. three men rushing with eight covering three guys and all three are all wide open.
short pass no one withing five yards and two miss tackles. Either this team is playing with eight guys on defense or something is really weird here.
I can't believe there is a conference worst than this. The announcer just said the quarterback made a smart move because he dumped the ball off on third down. That is all he basically does and boy he looks right at the receiver. No wonder they only get another foot if they catch it. Just a brutal game to watch. Now the kickoff and the idiots on smis will get to the 15 but hou will pass everyone and make it to the 50

He just threw a 10 yard comeback route on 4th and 16.....LOL. The good thing about watching these games is you see precious sh*t like that. :mj07:

Maybe I saw this wrong but lets see:
Your up 34-20 at the opponents 23 yard line and its 4th and 4 with 2:25 left. You decide to basically kneel on it and give it to them on the 25 with 2:10 or so left.
To me kicking that field goal is HUGE, if they go down and score....they then onside kick it. What if they get it? Now you are in panic mode cause they can tie, instead of making it a 3 score game and pretty much ending it.
Now I know Southern Miss isn't making anyone forget about the Colts but that is a weird decision. And on top of that you have Rod G. telling us its the 'classy' thing to do...WTF, your only up 14 with 2:00 left and your Houston, your defense is average at best.
