It's a big problem here. Big problem. And they go right down the middle like they own the road. I usually try to pass them real close to give them a scare. When I look back they are usually shaking their head. I'm gonna try and have tried hitting them with by side view mirror. Haven't actually done it yet but it's coming.

STAY OFF THE FUCKING ROAD!

Seek help.

We should come up with a side view mirror like this:

Sounds like there's a Market for them.......:0003

If you take issue with others using chopsticks to eat sushi, then you might be a crabby old man.

If you take issue with grocery clerk for inadvertently giving you the wrong change, then you might be a crabby old man.

If you take issue with bicycle commuters riding in "your" lane, then you might be a crabby old man.

If you attempt to scare or intimidate cyclists by clipping them with your side view mirror, then you might be a sociopath.

Neither do I, if you use them for every meal.

If you don't use them for every meal, and shove the fork aside at the Asian joint, and ask for the sticks......you're an ass. Probably eating your food with your fucking sunglasses on, too. YIPPEE!

bicycles were never an issue in Nola until recently, but bicycle traffic has surged the past year or 2. I can easily see how this could become an issue at this rate.

I actually struck a cyclist in 2006, when cyclist were rarely seen on the road. It sucked. I felt horrible about it. I was turning right onto a divided two way boulevard when i hit a cyclist riding wrong way. I didn't see him, except a blur at impact. A large oak had obscured my view. I felt and heard the impact, then hit the brakes. I was accelerating into the turn, so wasn't as quick to the brake as usual. Had I gotten to the brake pedal a little sooner, it would've been minor, but I rode over his leg and bike with my front passenger tire. His bike was caught under my car, and got totally mauled when the cop and I removed it. This guy's leg was badly hurt. He was writhing in pain. He worked in construction, so you know he lost wages. Just a f*cked up deal.

It's his fault. Not yours.

If you run through a known mine field and you blow up, the mine can't be responsible.

That's probably why he didn't sue. I wasn't cited, but my auto premiums increased dramatically until recently.

This is just flat out wrong. More important than the actual running/cycling to these assholes is pushing their agenda.

I can't tell you how many times one of these knuckle draggers has moved FURTHER INTO THE LANE just to make their point. I remember thinking that yes, it would be breaking the law for me to run your stupid ass over, BUT IT'S STILL GOING TO HURT YOU DUMFUCK.

Runners/cyclists should stay off the fucking roads. Roads were built with cars in mind, not idiots. I'm on the road because I need to get somewhere and that somewhere is not waiting behind you in your ridiculous spandex shorty shorts as you wander out in the road because you can.

That's just stupid.
