My AAA Auto insurance just renewed, OUCH, went sky high. I decided to call Costco and compare rates.....WOW, so much cheaper for the exact same coverage, about half as much.

Phone number:
888-404-5365

Boys, a tip for you...Farm Bureau of Michigan. I've had AAA and loved their service but hated their price. I've already had home owners and auto claims and they're great to deal with.

Have had Costco Home/Auto insurance for 5 past 5 years...at least 20-25% cheaper than anybody else.
Haven't filed a claim yet.

I just officially changed my auto insurance to Costco Ameriprise and saved 1/2 of what my AAA renewal was going to be. I had zero points on my driving record and not one accident in the past 10 years. AAA wanted $2700 a year and Costco charged me $1350 for identical coverage. Worth a look see.

1- Do you have to be a member?

2- If you have to be a member and there is no Costco nearby, can you join anyway to get the auto insurance deal?

I use Allstate and I'm sure they are cheaper than they are.

You can join online for $55.00 per year and they will set you up with a membership #. You have to be a member in order to utilize our service contracts. Look up member services online and you can see other items that may be of interest as well :0008
