So during jury duty today one of the questions to the pool of perspective jurors was "do you believe that the counts read aloud about the accused would lead you to believe he has done something wrong". Now there were 8 counts this guy was facing ranging anywhere from armed robbery to eluding police. I could understand a count or two, but could anyone truthfully say after hearing 8 counts as serious and ranging as this that they wouldnt feel the suspect at the least did "something" wrong:shrug: Me and 6 others out of 40 were the only ones that said we felt he must of done at least something. No way in hell that 34 of those people looked over at that man and didnt think he had done at least something. No I didnt get picked for this trial, but it was because of my friendship with the defense lawyer. Funny thing is when the Prosecuter struck me because of our friendship my buddy thanked him since he was going to do the same thing, saying "I know he would have sent him to prison". Maybe I am just this cynical but could anyone actually say no to that question?
