And where does Bush fit into the 'End Times'? Are you seriously going to base your vote on a series of fiction books?

I find it absolutley hysterical how many people keep saying they are "scared" of Obama winning.

OK - I'm willing to make a wager with anyone who wants a piece: $1,000 bet that if Obama wins, the Apocolypse will not have happened after 4 years.

Won't change anything for me if he wins or not--
I don't rely on gov for a free lunch--yet
--however can get that way if necessary--as in Oliver Twist--"Please sir ,can I have some more" :)

I am voting for Obama Tuesday in the primary, because I hate the bitch :00hour

I will vote for McCain in November. He is lesser of the evils, I just hope he picks a conservative to run for vp

of course I'm not basing my vote on that series of books. He just reminds me of the antichrist character. Nothing wrong with being scared of how he'll run the country.

:mj07: Yeah, everytime someone comes along that people like who can put 2 sentences together, the Revelationists and Hal Lindsay types always think he's the antichrist. Give him a chance to at least kill a person or 2 before saying he could be worse than Stalin, Hitler, and Saddam combined.

After the last 7 + yrs, I can't see how we can get any worse. If the next American President doesn't rise above the bar set by the current occupant of our White House, we will definitely have a third party President in our next election or we should just hang it up.:SIB

How many times have we all been scared ? Looking back, we were not sure if we would get threw it but believed some how we would. If you don't get scared, you are not living.

---based on what- other than your opinion.

Easiest way to expose opinion is ask for facts--
Remember last time?
Well lets try again--

Since you and other liberals claim past 7 years have been so bad--and expect Obama to be your savior.

Who will be the 1st to step up and explain
why they are not better off then they were 7 years ago--and exactly which of Obama's plans of change and hope do they expect to enhance their lives in next 4 years--

The truth hurts , where in my statement did I say anything about Obama. The last time this many Americans were waiting for a President to leave office was 1980, the carter days. Why so defensive ? Have you been to the store latley, doesn't matter what kind or what you are buying, it cost more. I know the economy has cycles but the people blame it on the President. Bush has managed the worst economy since Carter. If you took a poll, I'd say 80% can't wait to see him go.... I'll take Nader over anyone running, I'd take you/ forget that.. Just get that jack ass out of my White House. The next President doesn't have to do anything to enhance my life. I just want to see the end of stupidity and obvious absurdity. I'm a conservative, so you can stick that liberal tag up your ass. William F Buckley was saying the same things about this piece of shit President. I never thought I see a worse President than Carter in my life time. Carter is off the hook. Next ! Biladen won after 911. Our military is extended and where he wanted and our ecomomy is where he wanted because of overspending, waste, and corruption in our government. Binladen is doing to Bush what He and Reagan did to the Russians in the 80's. You and Bush and the rest of you anti American ass holes are to dumb to see it. All you talk about is no retreat and winning the war. The war on terror can not be fought conventionally. We have to strengthen our intelligence and special ops and fight terror with terror. If we killed everyone in Iraq today, we would not be any safer here at home.

you have any supporting data here--or once again more opinion?????
Maybe you could put up Carter/GW #'s on employment-job growth-inflation-interest rates ect- to back up your opinion :)

Same question--2nd time

every point I made is obvious, to historians and working Americans. No data needed. THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING IS UP ! THE ONLY THING DOWN IS THE DOLLAR ! do you need data to tell you that ?

CAMPAIGN 2008 | Chicagoans in Obama's life likely targets of McCain, GOP

March 2, 2008
BY LYNN SWEET blogs.suntimes.com/sweet

SAN ANTONIO -- With increasing frequency, Republicans are taking aim at Sen. Barack Obama as Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton faces an uphill fight to keep her presidential hopes alive. And several people from Chicago connected to Obama -- with the major figure being the indicted Tony Rezko -- could provide material his foes can use.

If Obama wins the nomination, he will face an onslaught from presumptive GOP nominee Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) as well as the Republican National Committee, with a research and press operation churning out e-mails about Obama's record. Here's a look at some of the Chicago people who are already in play:

Tony Rezko
Rezko's trial on corruption charges starts Monday. Rezko has a longtime relationship with Obama. Any mention of Obama in the trial -- he is a side figure -- could have political ramifications for Obama and be grist for ads. While Obama's connections to Rezko have long been the subject of stories in the Chicago newspapers, the trial is the peg for other news organizations to be doing their own examinations.

Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan
Farrakhan recently offered an unsolicited endorsement of Obama. He is considered by many Jews as an anti-Semite. At the Democratic debate in Cleveland last Tuesday, Obama said he would "reject and denounce" Farrakhan's help.

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright
Obama continues to explain to Jewish voters his relationship with his pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who is retiring from the Trinity United Church of Christ at 400 W. 95th. A magazine connected to Wright honored Farrakhan. Last Sunday, Obama said Wright "is like an old uncle who sometimes will say things that I don't agree with."

Austan Goolsbee
An economics professor at the University of Chicago, Goolsbee is one of Obama's top economic advisers. Goolsbee is at the center of several news reports -- on Canadian television and ABC News -- dealing with Obama and NAFTA. Obama has said that as president, he would ask Canada and Mexico to renegotiate the trade agreement. The reports finger Goolsbee -- who did visit the office of the Canadian counsel general in Chicago but not to talk about trade -- as being the source of sending the message to Canada that Obama's bark is worse than his bite on NAFTA. Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said any suggestion that there is a back channel is "ridiculous" and that news reports concerning this have been "debunked" and Obama stands by his statements.

William Ayers
Hyde Park welcomed William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn to the neighborhood after they resurfaced as local civic leaders following their years on the lam as members of the Weather Underground. But stories by Bloomberg's Tim Burger and the Politico's Ben Smith have drawn attention to Obama's ties to the former radicals. Ayers is an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a national reputation for studying urban school systems. Ayers served with Obama on the board of the Chicago-based Woods Funds. "While Ayers and Dohrn may be thought of in Hyde Park as local activists, they're better known nationally as two of the most notorious -- and unrepentant -- figures from the violent fringe of the 1960s anti-war movement," Smith wrote. "Obama's relationship with Ayers is an especially vivid milepost on his rise, in record time, from a local official who unabashedly reflected a very liberal district to the leader of national movement based largely on the claim that he can transcend ideological divides," Smith concluded.

IO He could have added on Obama--his only threat of force is on our Canadian allies--

"I think we should use the hammer of a potential opt-out as leverage to ensure that we actually get labour and environmental standards that are enforced."

While wanting to do the Kumbaya routine with our enemies-Iran-Cuba-Venuzala--alla Carter who danced (they lead)with Iranian students for 444 days -Reagan steps in one day and their buying prisonors gifts and sending them home. :)
