I know it's not contagious but some people might freak out if I was sneezing constantly. It won't be mandated.

I'm just worried that you glamorizing your excessive use of illegal hard drugs is a bad influence on this forum. There are some impressionable folks in this community.

Fair. I?m 47, so my hallucinogenic days are over long over. #justsayno

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, somewhat confusingly, says they are aware of 223 people who have died with covid after being vaccinated. "Not all of those 223 cases who had covid actually died of covid. They may have had mild disease but died, for example, of a heart attack.

What part of "masking" is hard?

Thankfully, mask days are over. In the course of 14 months, I found masking outdoors sucked bc my sunglasses fogged up. I?m sure eyeglass wearers must?ve dealt with that indoors. Also, it?s muggy AF in Nola, so outdoor masking outside of a brief winter is a hassle. When this started, and I was quick on the draw in terms of masking, surgical masks were uncomfortable, so I went with a neck gaiter. Every day since March 17, 2020, I?d leave the house with one on and slip it over nose/mouth upon entry into a public building. Easy enough, normally in a store or office briefly. Some healthcare facilities and airlines would force me to put on a surgical mask, which I did without comment or hesitation. 2-3 consecutive hours masked up was horribly annoying, as I learned on trips to Dallas, Tampa and Nashville. Made me realize how shitty it must have been for my teen boys, who wore masks 7:45 to 3:15 all school year.

So, masking isn?t difficult, but it does suck in general. I won?t do it again unless mandated or when I enter at a building or healthcare facility which requires it AND offers a service I value over the inconvenience of masking up.

It's comical.

What part? Your inability to think critically?

115 million people have been vaccinated and we were told the trials reported 95% effectiveness. 223 known deaths of vaccinated people that contracted COVID, but not confirmed to have died of COVID and this somehow is validation of.......what?

imagine waiters and kitchen workers and the multitudes of others who wear glasses who had to mask in extremely humid environs for 10 hours a day and couldn?t see shit all day long

Anti Fog spray and a mask with a nose clip. Solutions exist.

Wearing a mask sucks. If you have a job where you have to wear it all day or work with it on in a tight space, it's a real pain in the ass. Nobody's arguing that.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said that while John did have a mild case of covid at his time of passing, his cause of death in reality was a heart attack

Someone can die of something else while infected. Isn't your favorite example "car crash"? Same guys were just telling us how the hospitals were classifying all deaths as COVID, but now they are bitching when the CDC says they aren't. You guys are impossible.

what?s so hard about wearing a mask?

It sucks, but it isn't hard. It especially sucks if you have to wear it as I described. When the dicks can't handle putting one on to walk into a store or airport, there's no excuse.....but you guys will find one.

Have worn a mask everywhere since it was required. Still got Covid, knocked me on my ass for 14 days.

But anyone who thinks wearing a mask isn't political cosmetic theatre I've really gotta question your ability to think for yourself.

And this is coming from someone who did not vote for Orange Man Bad.

When you are trying to allow society to operate as much as possible yet still continue to protect people by enforcing some recommended preventative measures, you are going to have times where it just seems stupid. It's unavoidable. But, you can understand the spirit of what they are trying to do and just roll with it or you can point to every aspect that seems inconsistent or unnecessary and make a stink.

I used to manage warehouses and the hourly people would always nitpick the policies and it just gets old and you just want people to grow up and roll with it. That's probably why this whole thing bugs me. It just reminds me of dealing with whiners. I've been on construction sites and wearing a mask all day, indoors, without adequate air conditioning absolutely sucks. That's totally understandable to me when people complain. But, if you just can't handle wearing one while you grocery shop, grow up.

That's where I'm coming from. Call me woke or whatever you like.

Well, if masks actually had an impact on getting the virus I don't think there would be as many complaints.
