Our open border in Texas has taken on millions of illegal immigrants that our President refuses to fix. But when they get sent to the sanctuary cities that supposedly offer care and protection, they walk it back and lose their shit.
Everyone wants to preach welcoming migrants all the way up until they see the border from their own front window. #hypocrisy
The border isn't open. Not much has changed since Trump left. Same border agents They aren't being treated like complete shit when detained, that's pretty much it.

Reading threads and people's responses make my head hurt. "it's only 1%" 1% is a fucking lot when you are talking about the entire population. It isn't a lot if only 5 % of the population got it. Not only the deaths but what were the percentages that needed to be treated? Ask the people who work in health care or hospitals like sixfive and Nikmet on how crippling an outbreak of covid is to a community's healthcare system.
