WTF are you talking about, 'sour grapes'?

What, because I'm a Colts fan I can't point out the painfully obvious?

This has jack shit to do with who MY team is. Indy has their ring, we own the Pats (3 straight, soon to be 4).

What I said is 100% accurate, like it or not.

Get it fixed...

Your the guy that said I was a Pats' fan defending them, chill out, try thinking about how your going to feel next week when Bellichek and the Pats KICK THE COLTS ASS

Try re-reading what I said, that might help you comprehend?

I said the same ones defending it, would be up in arms and crying about Bellicheat leaving him in IF Brady had gotten hurt. You turned that into sour grapes:shrug:

You asshole Patriot fans are the biggest hippocrits around.

Aren't you one of several who said when the video scandal broke, that the Pats Championships are tainted because they only won each Superbowl by 3 points? Now they have a huge chip on their shoulder from hearing all the crap about them cheating and are pounding their opponents into the dirt and all of a sudden they are scoring TOO MANY POINTS...

Also, how many times have I read in this forum about "why are they using the prevent defense, all it does is prevent you from winning. Why don't teams keep playing the same way they have been playing all game."

I will also say, it is probably not the smartest thing to keep Brady in as late as they are. I was at the game today and said that to the guys I went to the game with. That being said, they are obviously trying to prove a point...

But again, this is not about numbers. It's about form. It's the age-old question about what is right or wrong in sports.

When it comes to pro sports, it's not an easy debate. This is not the local YMCA league where feelings can matter. This is the league for big boys, big money and big egos.

Still, there seemed to be the seeds of hard feelings after the game when Belichick and Redskins coach Joe Gibbs exchanged the briefest of handshakes. By the time Gibbs got to the post-game press conference, he was effusive with praise and pointed no fingers at the Pats.

"I don't think you could say enough good things about (the Patriots)," Gibbs said. "They've got great talent, great coaching ? It will take a lot to stop them."

But then Gibbs was asked if the Pats should perhaps have stopped themselves.

"No, I have no problem with anything that they did," he said. "Nothing, no problems from me."

For his part, Belichick shrugged off questions about the issue. Of course, he was the one who put Brady back in the game in the fourth quarter with New England leading 42-21 after backup Matt Cassel threw an interception for a score against the Dolphins last week.

"What do you want us to do? Kick a field goal?" Belichick said when asked about going for it on fourth down. "It's 38-0. It's fourth down. (We're) just out there playing."

A number of Washington players echoed Gibbs' sentiment, even while saying New England was going for the score.

"Sure, they were running up the score," Redskins offensive tackle Todd Wade said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Every coach is different in how they do it. ? They were a machine all day and were as good as advertised."

The next question is what will anybody do about it?

At this rate, not much.

"If they keep scoring the way they are, it won't happen," Wade said.

But the NFL is a funny collection of runaway egos. Will somebody take a cheap shot at Brady or Moss or somebody else because they're getting tired of getting beaten down?

Former Washington quarterback and current radio voice Sonny Jurgensen, a Hall of Famer, smiled and paused long when asked about the nature of revenge in this sport. He then said that there's really nothing that can be done.

"What are they supposed to be doing, kneeling down in the third quarter?" Jurgensen said.

Again, that's a fair point considering the level of the competition. If teams don't like getting beaten so bad, they probably should do something productive about it, like play better. Also, it would be perceived as whining if the Redskins did complain.

Furthermore, the approach right now with the Patriots should be gentle. That's become obvious as they play like a team determined to shove criticism back into the face of anyone who dares to utter it.

From criticism of Moss during the offseason to the hue and cry over Belichick being caught in the midst of Spygate, New England is playing with an edge that borders on disdain for any creature.

Or as wide receiver Donte' Stallworth put it after the game: "We don't care what other people say about stuff like that. Those people aren't in this locker room, aren't in this organization. We don't care. We've been accused of some stuff earlier this season ? it doesn't matter."

Don't really agree re running up the score. It's nice to watch football played right. Without the screwups. Pats game reminded me of Federer whipping Roddick last year. Running up the score? The Pats and these other teams aren't on the same level, so the concept doesn't really apply.

you own Patriots? First of all, what the fuk team are you on, love people who refer to a team as WE!! what position do you play. Second of all, remember Brady First start, was against Indy. Brian Cox laid Pathon out, and Colts Wilted like a bunch of dogs with their tails between their legs. They were 13 point favorites & lost by 30 something. Who has won more meetings, Brady or Manning??

You own Patriots lol, Pacers can't even own Celtics in their off years, believe Celtics even knocked them out there last few playoff runs. And you don't even have a NHL or MLB TEAM, YOU LIVE IN fnking INDIANA! EVEN YOUR COLLEGE TEAM SUCKS 33-3 TO WHISKEY!

I have had enough.

Brady was out in the 4 quarter, and the second string quarterback Ran 30 yards for a touchdown. How about you guys direct some anger at Washington, they make millions of dollars also. How about putting some dam effort & tackle, and play and not quit. Criticize New England all you want, I went to their workouts all summer, they work. Maybe some of these other clowns should work, any team in the NFL could have had moss. Patriots got him for a 4th round pick.

From John Clayton on ESPN.com

Of course, the Redskins didn't have the ability to stop it. Their defense entered the game short-handed and left beheaded. Fred Smoot, the team's third cornerback, couldn't play because of a hamstring injury. Linebacker Marcus Washington was limited to passing plays because of a sore hamstring. On the Patriots' first touchdown drive, starting cornerback Carlos Rogers suffered an injury that could range from a sprained MCL (out for a few days) to a torn ACL (lost for the season). Linebacker Rocky McIntosh also was injured.

Consequently, the Redskins lost their opportunity to match up with the Pats' top four receivers. Gibbs had just three true corners left on the active roster -- Shawn Springs, Leigh Torrence and David Macklin. Brady completed 29 of 38 for 306 yards and three touchdowns.

To make matters worse, Gibbs and the coaches lost their communication system during the game. They couldn't work the headsets.

By the way.... I do have an issue with the "cripple" comment. As much as I hate Brady, Moss, etc. I would not want to see one of them seriously hurt (career ending). :nono:

An ankle sprain or something else though wouldn't hurt my feelings. :SIB
