THIS IS THE THREAD FOR WEEK ... er, whatever hell week it is.. NOV. 7th GAMES. :)

(I thought I added my add-on play to this thread and instead started a new thread.. Sheesh. DISregard the "Crunch away" thread cause EVERYTHING is here)

My Number Cruncher has been overhauled - lubed, super charged, and test driven. IT'S READY.

Getting these in early before any lines that may change in the wrong direction. Checkem out and do reply and I'll be back with more....

USC - 9 1/2: you may not have to - but I bought a 1/2.

Air Forces - 16 1/2: Just parlay last week's winnings from this team for this week.

LA Monroe pk: I actually got +1 (didn't buy a thing neither).

Texas -36 1/2 : don't mind the huge line with a team that has no mercy. Believe they will run it up vs. a MUCH inferior team ESP. because they are in contention for BCS top gun.

TENN -26: Only one unit for me cause this team may have too much mercy. Putting this one in ONLY because the Crunch has it rated as high as any team so far this season. BIG number for this one. Cruncher sez "pour it on", I say use an eyedropper.

Adding this one

Adding this one

There was a play rated quite highlyt by Crunchy that I had to take a closer look at. After I checked out, thoroughly, the opponents and how the offense/defense matches up for Sat's game - I agree with the Sheet and believe this one IS a play as well:

ADDING

UTAH -26 1/2 (@Carib for this one): They haven't been putting up as many points as many people (like me, f'rinstance) expected but it stands to reason that a very well balanced defensive (only 163 yds. all season vs. the pass and that's really gonna help vs. the Lobos) team is NOT going to fail to cover for the third consecutive time AT HOME vs. a team that appears to have packed it in already for this year. Hell, UTES only lost to OREGON by a single score AWAY. Besides, the Cruncher has been consistantly picking both Mexicanos squads to cover almost every week, NOT this week. Just that is enough for me.

Reply with your thoughts or whatever and I'll be back.

Jer Z, I'm afraid the Crunchy will continue to pick losahs.

BUT, after the Overhaulin (ever watch that show? It's great!) and back testing. I do believe it's gotten back to it's senses and it'll be on more than enough winnahs, like it did on weeks 4 and 5, again this time around to make it all worthwhile. I've tried outsmarting the Sheet last year and pulled out the LOSAH too many times. Just playem ALL. :s6:

Fire away, Jer..... .. .

BUMP and more

BUMP and more

Three reasons I replying with this:

1. Right underneath this thread is my "Crunch Away" mess (ANOTHER scatterbrain mistake). Looks like the clipboarders are opening BOTH this and that thread. Don't want to think they're wasting time on account opening that useless thread. I know they gotta move real fast like through the threads.

2. Get this thang to to the top so maybe some REPLYERS will read it despite the wrong dang week in the title.
:mfpost :mj04:

and ... clearly BEST OF ALL.... shout out a RED (bestest of the best) play :director:

Wisc -10 (vs. Indiana)

Hada go an ruin a nice day with the Wisc. pk.

Hada go an ruin a nice day with the Wisc. pk.

Still, not bad at all. That Whiskey game (loser) was my biggest play though. Still, gotta feel good about coming out ahead on a day that I believe may have been a disaster for most cappers. If I picked my own plays on Sat - hey, it woulda been a disaster for me too. :scared

Well, putting the word "Rookie" in my post title sure got some interest the first time I posted Crunchy's picks back in week 4 but I can't write that anymore. Guess I'm not the savior who rides in here on the white horse to rescue the thread readers after all. :(

There ain't much interest in the picks so I'll cool it asfaras posting for awhile.

If I can keep it going like it did this week or, better yet, improve it - I'll prob. post some more down the road. Sure wish I could finish off the college FB season like I did last year but that UNBELIEVABLE run musta been a fluke.

Just to make this last post worthwhile - I got two of the posted college plays (won already) in a 3 teamer parlay with one NFLer pending to cash it. Here's the pending play and some of my reasons for including it::

Ravens -3: Always liked their emotional style of play and it continues this season. I believe their superior defensive line will stop the Bengals cold. Taking advantage of a generous line that's probably due to the fact that the Bengals continue to be over rated (IMO, they were over rated right from the pre-season) and also cause they lost there recent game vs. Cinn. IT WAS THE PENALTIES THAT BEAT THEM, NOT CINN. Ravens have no problem playing AWAY; lost two VERY close games vs. much better, IMO, opponents (N.E. and Minn) away. They're also an excellent revenge team through the years.

More reasons - Bengals DE Antwan Odom, who was tied for the NFL lead in sacks (eight), is still suffering with an Achilles tendon injury even though he may play and several of their LINErs (Def. and Off., like Andre Smith f'rinstance) are questionable. Ravens are virtually injury free.

More?.. well, take the important passing stats - Ravens ROAD passing offense ranks 5th while Cincy's HOME passing def. is ranked 31st. Other stats go Baltimore's way as well.

I rarely play NFL cause of the parity (worser with sports like NBA, YUCK) but when I see a game that IMO stands out - I put it in a parlay and this is one of those games.

Good Luck the rest of the way, MJers.
