Because there is no patent, nobody is gonna spend 100 million to research it, because if it gets approved and works anybody will be able to produce the drug. Too much risk with no reward.

Maybe somebody like Bill Gates will step up to the plate.

Maybe it's all a bunch of bullshit?

I wonder how many of these claims pop up every year?

I watched this report. Pretty interesting. And the implications are just sad! Way too much money being made currently, so there is no real interest in curing the disease!
