game one cal st will most likely come back with smith there #2 guy he was pulled on fri after 5 just incase they lost sunday, this is where i said coaches think ahead. he threw 5inngs 7'ks 0 bb 5hits 4runs 3 er,68 pitches for a guy that goes 110+ without a problem,he will be fresh today and theu also have cordero pitched in both games he is the floater 2.1 innings 0 hits and 5 k's . nuneez has also throwen both days he is the guy that can close strong or come in in a tight spot and get the k,he has throwen 1.2 innings with 4'ks/ belive me they are mad as hell with there piss poor hitting sunday, like i said the last month and a half was hitting 356 as a team they were ripping the ball, they werenot the #1 seed for nothing this team can play and has guts you will see hits today, bunts and hit and runs any chance they get along with stolen bases, they want to put the pressure on tulane and keep it on.
tulane will have to come back with bourgeous game 1 starter went 4.2 innings 6 bb 7 hits 4 k's and 6er.he threw 89 pitches in that little time, they have also used 6 pitchers out of the bp with some high pitch counts but few innings, this staff has got a work out the first 2 games,i also think nerves will be a factor cal.st has been against the wall before in the cws,and tulane is in its first time have made alot of physical mistakes which happen part of the game and some due to nerves, but alot of mentel mistakes and that isnot acceptable at all and will kill you.also there pitchers have throwen behind in the count to most batters in both games this will bite you in the ass,you must throw first pitch strikes that is the key to pitching,a batter who is a first ball hitter will only hit around 268.
cal is #1 seed for a reasom and will show it today.
cal.st3000/2000
havenot got line on usc but you can bet it will be a 6x2 bet for me i will use all my resources to get down all over town, jeri has a bank roll on her that would choke a cow,she will hit 5-6 places on the strip and i will hitt phone accts and offshore, when i get a line i will post it. the reason one isnot up because books know they are in trouble with this game and dont know what to do,because they are going to get hit hard at any #

I just got down @ -163 at Sportbet.com. They will only take a nickel on the internet, but by phone they will take up to 1500 on the CWS.

Damn! I knew I loved Wagerstreet. If it weren't for those 20 cent MLB lines I would still have money there. FWIW I think they are the best for NFL, NBA and NHL.

I love your analysis and I'll play USC big. For those that are following like me, if USC loses take it like a man. Don't whine and flame, remember you decided to bet this game on your own.

if that happens which it very hard to get a rain out there because they will play all night, but say it does start and rain hits it doesnot start over it it a suspened game and usc would come with the stud on wen and dont let the books dick you and try to tell you it is a no play and they have to put up new line which would be like -280-300,i know the rules so the books cant pull a fast one a suspened game is just that not a rain out. so keep that in the back of your mind, and i will even show them rule and page in the ncaa case book on how you handle a suspened game in tournment acation and belive me they will try to wash it if this happens,

Well just slightly premature but its now 11-2 so thanks a lot Fletcher for the Cal State Fullerton pick. Loaded up on USC too. If Tulane comes back in the bottom of the 9th down by 9 runs I promise I will never post here again LOL

I believe that USC was the side to be on-but those Vol bats have come ALIVE. I am going to take some action on them to win it all-just a hunch.

It was a heck of a pitching performance, also looked as if the wind was against USC the whole game? The sad part for me was I thought we still had a shot at the top of the ninth. Just felt like something was going to happen. Lets get em tomorrow!

To show my support for Fletcher today I placed a hefty wager on USC while taking a swan dive off the roof. I landed on a damned cactus which was home to a den of rattlesnakes. While I was writhing in pain from my bites the scorpions pitched in just to make it more interesting!

I think I need a good pair of tweezers, some anti-venom and a tourniquet!

Hope you get to feeling better real soon Eric. Even tho the pick was a loser I am still appreciative of your efforts.

Like the kid who gets caught coppying off his friends test, I failed this one. Next time I "may" do my own homework. Still think it was a good pick and am very proud to have the kind of losing company that I have with this one.

Good luck to us all next time. Let's try to keep a sense of humor about all this stuff. And noooooooo... I didn't bet the farm... Just half my lunch money!

AzRusty

For those of you who may take offense. I consider Eric to be a friend. He has helped me a lot through this board. Although we have never met... I do understand the seriousness of his accident and his injuriess and wish him a speedy recovery.

I do NOT mean to be making fun of him or to be making light of his accident.

As I watched Wyatt Allen stay in the game inning after inning when all logic was saying it was time for him to come out I kept thinking about what Fletch said about their pitching being spent. I don't think they dared take him out because there wasn't anybody capable of coming in without risking USC having a BIG inning. Allen stayed and managed to keep his stuff when most starters would have started giving up long balls.

We were beat by one man and not the whole team. The Vols scored a lot of runs, but we would have stayed up with them and passed them if Wyatt Earp . . . I mean Wyatt Allen . . . hadn't held us off inning after inning by himself.

The kid was awesome and I am marking this one as one of those 25 out of every 100 games that sheer fickle fate takes away from me. I know fate will give me my equal share of winners over the long haul.

This was a game that all the handicapping in the world would not have given us a clue to the final outcome.

And Fletch, I really appreciate you sharing for your knowledge with us. You are the greatest.
